Pure perfection. Another work of art, Oisin. I can’t imagine how long it took you to make this video, searching for the appropriate movie clip to insert, filming, editing, etc. You clearly have a talent that allows you to create content which is by far, some of the best available anywhere on KZread. Thanks for all the work and effort you put into these videos. I’m nothing short of amazed my friend!...Ed

I love these videos because he doesn’t pander to the ‘casual viewer’. He knows that he won’t get many ‘clicks’ when he makes a 30+ minute video, but just says “fu## it I don’t give a sh##, I’m making this for me”. Respect

This is one of your finest yet! Having just purchased a vintage Speedmaster cal 861, I was amazed with the great shots of your Speedmaster amidst the gorgeous backdrop of Venice with what I'm assuming is Bach providing the incredible music in the closing moments. I'm always intrigued with your videos and the many scenes of Venice which I was fortunate enough to visit in October 2018. Italy is a beautiful country. Many thanks for these creatively wonderful videos my friend.

Very interesting. I have gone the same road down as you. Changing the dial, the hands or nothing. For my moonwatch from 69 I decided the same. Changing the hands, maintain the case and the movement und stay with the original dial. Your vid's are the best arts on KZread. Enjoy it.

Extremely excited to see you in this store. When I visited Venice in the Summer the first thing I did when I arrived (much to my girlfriend’s dismay) was head to this store to stock up on supplies. It was extremely busy and only one girl working in the shop, so unfortunately a massive queue of angry locals after cigarettes and ice cream built up behind me!

This was simply extraordinary content, as is the vast majority of Oisin’s work. This being the case, it’s difficult not to be captivated by the grandeur of the location and the eloquent narrative. However, some very compelling points were raised relative to the slippery slope nature of the Speedmaster Service presented here. I think that most all vintage enthusiasts struggle with this dilemma at some point in their journey. This list of related talking points is virtually without end. Laser welding, the installation of modern service parts and the re-luming of hands were all touched upon in this segment and it’s evident that Oisin really struggled with each and every nuanced decision. There are no hard and fast rules regarding what is right or wrong in these cases. That said, I would be most grateful if other subscribers could chime in on this subject, in the hope that we can all learn from one another and avoid similar pitfalls going forward.

It’s so nice just to sit, relax and view this video. Learn more, become even more passionate for this hobby. I got a moonwatch last year because of you and of course it’s not 1988, it’s 2020. But I will pass it to my two boys someday and they will pass to their kids and that’s good enough for me.

Good to see a bit of Giudeca, a part of Venice I've not yet visited - defo think you could do some good videos walking around places like Murano, the Lido and Giudecca - lesser known parts of the city.
