Speed UTV #66 Is Here!! We Take It For a Rip in the Dirt and Sand Dunes.

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Well, was it worth it?? It sure was fun taking Troy's Speed Car out! Whether it was worth it or not is up to one's own opinion. The suspension is definitely super nice! It has some really awesome features with the display options. Ride with us and see for yourself. We'll get more aggressive driving done in future videos when it's broken in.

Hahaha, that traction control was really annoying. 😂 If we would have had phone reception we would have googled a way to turn it off maybe. It would have been fun to follow in my RZR, but my steering rack is currently broken. I really look forward to getting out on a ride with him so we can compare the cars back and forth!

Dunefest last week I met with the owner of car #69 it was pretty legit. Spent some time chatting with him and he had a grin ear to ear. His previous ride was xp1000 and didn’t have much seat time in other Platforms. I’m sure Glad to see 2 in oregon! I’m sure it won’t be long before someone tosses me a key to one for test drive as more head this!! . 🤘🏻

While I thinks it is great to have another performance UTV on the market, I am truly amazed at how little cars are in the public's hands 4 or so years later. To buy a like-priced car as the "other" guys with no dealer support is ridiculous. On top of that, we watched video after video of Robby "perfecting" and "revising" component after component, only to deliver a car that has proven to be no better than the competition. I suspect that "if" Speed actually releases 500-1000 to the public, only then will we get the answer to that age-old question "Was It Worth It?" I hope your buddies car works flawlessly for him, but with what we have already seen, we know that will not be the case.

I have the same thoughts as you! What I don't understand is who is actually testing the Speed UTV cars during pre production. Don't get me wrong, I love a ton of things about the car, but I don't get how there're so many little things that come up failing. I know part of it has to do with billion dollar companies vs million dollar company, but it wouldn't take long to figure out the issues that we've seen them have. I know there will be growing pains, but I'm sure most people would wait just a little longer for a product that they know won't have issues. With Robby's skills in the racing scene I hope they can overcome the issues and put out a product that keeps up with the competition in cost, performance, and reliability. We're definitely anxious to get more miles on my friend's and see how it does. I will always be honest about any issues that come up in the future.

Robby very transparent with his videos and constantly working to make it better at the Race track with him and his son.
