Baj, here we are. After all this time, you made it happen. You delivered. And I mean you really delivered. I struggle to find the exact words to show my appreciation for and acknowledgement of the gravity of this moment. I remember first meeting you. Our work was what connected us -- two strangers bonding over our interests and creative outlets. In hindsight, I'm unsure if there was anyone else I got along with as quickly as I did with you. The memories of sharing story ideas with one another, reading each other's scripts, collaborating, voicing characters in our respective shows; these are memories rooted in a simpler time in both of our lives, rooted in what was a blossoming friendship, and friendships with the other boys as well. So much time has passed. We've grown up. And yet we are still here, and we've watched each other grow -- as creators, as people. That blossoming friendship deepened and became an enriching, life-long one. I should be so lucky to not only finally witness a work that you have long toiled over, but to say you are still here in my life. You cook like no other. It's one thing to see talent evolve over the course of a series. It's another to witness the evolution -- ten years of skill -- play out in front of you in the same package. I can see here how you've pushed yourself to higher plateaus. How you talked through your ideas and thought processes of this Episode after we all watched through together, it reflects what I've known about you and your creative eye for what feels like a lifetime. There is care and intention bursting at the seams of this. Not only did you come back to finish what you started, you stomped the standards set by your past work and rose higher. Little things like Sonic landing with a wall-jump after the sky portion of this fight, or the characters flinching in the background of the POV shot of Umbra clenching his fist; these are things that elevate the entire product, because you can feel the creative touch in things you didn't "need" to do, but wanted to do. This is obvious to say, but your action has never been better. I'm in awe of the marriage between practical elements and digital effects used to sell parts of the fight. The Episode prior to this, End of an Era (Part I), was a dual-release with my very own Episode 20 of SSMA, Tables Turned. It's staggering to reflect on how much life has happened in the time since. I wrapped my own series, for example. Dual releases were so much fun -- I felt connected to you in a way unlike anyone else in that sense. We both somehow managed to repeatedly churn out work around the same time, just for the fun and hype of it all. Every time I had an idea to bounce off someone or wanted a script read for a second opinion, you were the person I trusted. This Episode may have been a long time coming, but that's not to say you were doing nothing in that time, either. Just look at the community you've built, and fostered, and brought together consisting of the new guard of animators, of "Sonic Stop Motion KZreadrs." To see this niche somehow still so fresh and filled with creatives is a beautiful thing to witness. Your crossover for the 30th Anniversary Collab, Multi Dimensional, pays tribute to this -- to where we've come from, where we are, and where we're going. Featuring my own version of Sonic from my show, as well as others that you and I were inspired by, it encapsulates a niche genre here that feels like a cool kids club. And it's a perfect reminder that at the end of the day, we can look back and think to ourselves, "we made something. Something that was worth something." It has been rewarding to play Umbra, such a pivotal character in this work of yours. Your striving to improve and be better makes me want to push myself to do the same, to deliver an even better performance. I know how proud you are of your work here. I can feel it in how you talk of it, how you're in disbelief that you've finally finished this Episode and it's out for the world to enjoy. And you deserve every bit of it. Lifeline. AJ. Baj. As someone who’s grown up with both speed stories and SSMA, I was 10 when I first started watching your guys stuff and remember tuning in on the livestreams with the five sided square. The episodes made me so happy as a little kid and was such a massive part of my childhood I’m 21 now, In college and looking to get my real estate license after graduation. Watching this show again really made me feel like I was 11 again in all the right ways. The animation, the voice acting and especially the storyboard, I was GEEKING out!!! I’ve never been so impressed watching a KZread video than I have now AJ you’re such a G for putting this out and finishing it through, thank you so much for putting in the effort to get this out, I’ll wait another 10 years for part 3 if I have to. Keep it going man! This is so cool!

AJ! - If I didn't get a chance to express it clear enough, I want you to know I’m glad you stuck with finishing episode 11 for yourself above anyone else. Persevering despite the challenges that a lot of us deal with, motivation, time, and confidence to come back after being away for so long. (It’s crazy to say it’s been a decade out loud) You made a CHOICE to see it through! Fear of disappointing or failing people didn't stop you. AND you put 150% effort into your work. I’m sure you’ll look back and be that much more proud of yourself for seeing Speed Stories through to the end. I hope you continue to carry that energy with anything you put your mind to. Whether it’s LifeLineTheHedgeHog or life stuff. It inspires me personally to bring the creative stuff back. So much time has passed since that last episode, yet it’s almost like none has at all watching this - i’m instantly back where I was as a teenager, glued to the screen and watching the next chapter unfold. On the other hand, this isn’t a video that could have released in 2014 - it’s the culmination of all your growth as an animator and storyteller over the many years since. 17:42 marks the start of my absolute favourite part of this episode. We’re a couple minutes into the more-recently animated shots (hello vector) and it’s so clear that you gave this section the almost-impossible role of justifying the 9 year wait: a balls-to-the-wall showcase of your greatest animation yet. Returning to a project after so many years could easily come across as if you feel you’ve been forced to come back and finish things up, but the sheer passion and creativity from this section - your excitement to be back genuinely bursts out of every frame. I did say “almost-impossible” role of justifying the wait, and that’s because it DOES justify it. If we had to wait 9 years for this version of AJ to hone his craft and do his story justice, then we’re all the more better for it. I’m commenting this on re-watch No.3 afterall… Episode 12 when?

I say this not just as a creator/SonicTuber whatever, but as a person. Have had the pleasure of knowing you for a long time (10+ years SHEESH) and just knowing you've (and we've) changed in some ways (and not in others lol) and seeing this project (and your creative spirit) come alive in even through that, its immediately an accomplishment and I think any adult who grew up with us can see that... comments show it already! I'm glad to have been able to support you in crossing the finish line, and beyond that, so thrilled to have been able to see what came of it. Great interactions, development of characters, establishing stakes, and enough action to keep viewers on their toes. It fits right in with the old stuff vision-wise but reflects more skill and clarity than before, it's very you!! It's both inspirational and aspirational in your commitment; your purpose for creating and animating is so clear, and I'd be lying if it didn't get me thinking about whether I've got anything more to set in motion 😅 Happy to be a part of your life and Speed Stories wherever it takes you. As a child, this was my everything along with the other Sonic Stop Motion, this was my shitttt. Umbra is my favorite original character of all the stop motion series, his emotional depth is unrivalled + the parallels with him and Shadow are so good😭

8:27 I don't think people are talking about this enough I know we saw on a sneak peek but I cannot get over how good this is such a badass idea of Sonic in a mech suit to continue too mess up eggman plans even out of an injury something straight out of Spider-Man and the characterization is so good I love how Sonic is in the series.

Well guys, we're back in 2014 again. The release of this episode was the most emotional moment I've felt in a while. The animation is beautiful, the editing is amazing. It shows that this took ages to complete. The animation gradually upgrading over the course of the episode is a fun detail, makes you feel like all of those 9 years were animation. Perfection, can't wait for part 3 and the final act of Speed Stories. Thank you, Lifeline The Hedgehog, for such a beautiful story.

Where's episode 12? 😡😡 Ona a real note it's surreal after all these years this episode has been released. I was 9 when the last episode came out and this brought me back to those days. Well done AJ, I'm excited to see how this series ends, no matter when that happens I'll be there watching.

I can not stress how much you and Piplupfan have inspired me to do stop motion. Like you i have been holding it off only barely making a 25 second clip i just uploaded a few days ago. Now seeing you come back in a spectacular fashion, I'm hopeful I can continue on and that you also continue on making art like this.

Dude... I first started watching SSMA and Speed Stories when i was in Elementary school, now I'm almost done with University and this series has been with me all through that. I can’t thank you enough for all the happiness you've brought to me and so many otherw, AJ. All the effort and all the wait was worth it.

I still cant believe that I finally lived the day to see a new episode of this series finally premiere after…*an entire decade* of randomly stumbling across this for the first time during my childhood.. I remember watching part 1 of this when I was like 7 at the time and waited for a part 2. The nostalgia wave!!! I used to watch Speed Stories and Stop Motion Adventures ALL THE TIME. Not only is the fight choreography and direction next level but the writing is as well. I love how you wrote Umbra, Silver, Sonic and Mephiles are written in this episode to highlight a few. And I love the Mephiles twist as well So great! Gonna be sad to see it go but can’t wait to see how this all ends

To finally witness this see the light of day after viewing episode 10 release all those years ago is such a delight. The sheer dedication you have to this series is so amazing. I know it wasn't easy. Seeing all the folks who helped you make this series still make an appearance in this after all this time was so evocative. All I can say is thank you all so much for keeping this train rolling for so long! 😊

7-8 years in the making and I can say with the upmost confidence that this was worth the wait, as someone who grew up with SSMA and still holds it close to my heart, and getting into you’re series sooner after, watching this now as I am adjusting I got my work routine, old parts and new parts of,the way the stop motion still holds up so beautifully and hearing both you’re silver, piplup’s shadow/umbra and eggman, mewsel’s tails and just all of the voices i stood by with for so long at it again, brought me back to my carefree days of being a innocent kid again that I teared up 🥹👏🏻 And I deeply as I can understand all the stuff ya went threw to get to this point, AJ, and from the bottom of my heart, thank you for sticking it out and in the end bringing us such a masterpiece, atleast in my eyes, and I’m ready to wait another few years if I have to, to see the end of this series, to relive my child years and see this crazy yet amazing story threw, cause it is beyond worth it in the end to me. This took wayy too long for me to get round to watching!! I believe its been over 8 years since I started watching this series but honestly its been that long that I can't remember, growing up and now seeing it and being able to fully appreciate this for what this is is an incredible feeling. I have nostalgia binging this show multiple times throughout the years (even one time as I was expecting the release in like 2021 lol), revisiting my childhood is always a great feeling, especially when the content is really great.
