That’s a really good idea, by the looks of it, with the machine he has he could do it, just machine the plexiglass where he glues it so it sits down a lil farther and becomes flush on the outside, another thing I was thinking he could do, which I’m going to comment about is to get a bunch of different wraps, whether it’s colors or designs and to wrap the CD drive, so it doesn’t just look like a big silver metal piece in there, that would make it look very cool! I’m also going to mention what you said so if he didn’t see your comment maybe he’ll see mine, hope you don’t mind, have a good one buddy

You do this with ease and just chillin in your shorts

Neat stuff. Issue: No ESD protection while soldering. Wood (high conduction) workbench. Need to be extremely careful with these boards especially ESD. Keep up the fun work but make some changes to the setup to improve when you can.

Like Adrian in the comments below mentioned, you should make the plexiglass sit flush, you know just machine down the sides where it sits inside the Xbox so it sits beautifully, not sure if you’d have to get a little thicker plexiglass but you should totally do it, also another thing I thought about is to buy different wraps, weather it’s colors or designs and wrap the CD drive, it’ll look much better than just that silver metal panel. Hopefully we both gave you some new ideas, and with the wrap maybe even some extra money! I think they’d look very cool that way and much better! First time viewer here, very cool, I’d love to meet people who do stuff like this so I can watch and maybe even pick up a new skill and good information about electronics. Hello, I would like to know how you do so that the light does not alter with the green panel that the front panel brings by default, when you use a white light it will turn green through the panel, blue will turn blue green through that panel, I would appreciate an answer, thank you!
