How do you replace the washer one if it snapped and broke off 😢

Thanks for the video. On the washer, for the screw on knob, does the disk underneath pull off then like the other knobs? I have a new timer coming and I will need to take both the screw on knob and the "position" disk/knob off the post so I can take the timer out from the back.

Maybe I missed it in the video but what were you trying to fix with the dryer? What was the piece you replaced? I have the exact same dryer so just wondering what the issue is

You didn’t miss anything. The title is awful and it’s unclear. Sorry but you’re absolutely correct. I was having an issue with the drying temperature; they all seemed to be very hot regardless of what fabric I selected. I thought it was that white thing on the timer- the resistor (it wasn’t ). I wound up replacing the fabric selector as well but I tried to film that and it was completely out of focus and hard to see what was going on so I didn’t post it. Anyway, in another video about this dryer, I’ve gotten many questions about how to remove the handles that I figured I would show how to remove them as part of this video. That’s all.

Gotcha! Yes, I agree that our dryer has always seemed to dry very hot and have seen many comments from other KZreadr's that say that's the way the Speed Queen dryers are. I always dry our towels on delicate and always permanent press for clothes@@Samlol23_drrich

@samlol23 my dryer timer knob popped off it’s post & the spring is exposed. There was a little flat washer that I assume was on top of the spring. I cannot get it back in place & my knob will not go back on because I cannot get the spring to stay down. Any suggestions or link to a video for this?

@@LynnWatkinsPhoto I suggest trying to put the knob on without the washer or spring. Is it a speed queen? I'm almost sure there is no Spring on the post. Now if the timer came apart, that's a different story. You might have to unplug it, and take the whole timer out and replace or fix it.

How do you remove it if it is completely cracked and won't come off? it spins freely in both directions

Which handle on which machine? If it's load size/temp/fabric selector/signal you can pry it with a screwdriver or similar. If it's timer/cycle selector they unscrew
