I have some things to do to my ‘99 wide glide. That stabilizer kit is on my list. I just ordered new tires so I think that I better order that up too. Thanks for the videos.

Chain is a lot more maintenance, and a lot tighter tolerance for alignment. For what I do on a bike, I’ll stick with a belt. But if I was trying to stunt, or building a show piece, I’d run a chain lol

I don’t have any videos of doing bars. I’ve filmed several, and they all come out terrible, so I’ve never posted them lol. There is a fairly recent video of working on my wife’s bike where I touched on it, but didn’t really go in detail

Regular services and maintenance will take that bike further than any “upgrade” ever will 🤙🏻 pick up a Clymer manual for $30-40 and it will walk you through everything you need to look at

I don't know how anyone can be comfortable riding on trips through several states with having midcontrols.. guessing it's a California lane splitting thing... I have seen people run pegs at midpoint so they can move their legs around to keep fatigue down.. I've got long legs and refuse to use highway pegs or a crash bar so I will place my feet on the passenger pegs and then go back to the forward controls

@@GilstrapGarage I agree with to each their own it's just that nobody I've come across that does alot of riding says they want their legs tucked in closer to where they are sitting.. majority want the opposite with their legs being extended

Love the mids too. I’ve always had floorboard’s in the past but can do 500 mi a day on my FXLRS without issue. I wouldn’t want to do much more than that anyway, cause everything starts to hurt 😂

Is this the factory low rider s rear fender

It’s not the S model, it’s just the low rider. The street bobs and the low rider s model came with bobbed fenders. Super glides and the low rider came with full fenders

@@jakemeyer277 that’s a loaded question lol. You can bolt this rear fender up to dyna models from 2006-2017. The S model was only produced in 16 and 17. You can find variations of the street Bob in those years where they stared out with a full fender, and transition them to the “bobbed” fender later. Some years had a funky little light they stuck in the middle of them. The super glide and the lowrider were in and out of production between 06 and 17. And then you have some different fender options with the wide glide, fat Bob, and the switch back, too.
