Random sidenote but I love serpents fang. I even built it on brand against a lulu/turbo shield comp and had it negate 10k shields or somewhere around that in an ARAM game

Seeing the two God Kings go at it is always great.

It's winnable from both sides i like and play both so i know phase ignite ghost Garen wins but if Darius can force fights he wins also most Garens players lose because of one mistake they run foward instead of to the side to dodge Darius hook trust me Darius is outplayable if he ghost you ghost only flash can give him an advantage

If I walk back to aa Q him he will simply walk with me while silenced and then hook me in afterwards and I'm the same shit position :( But what I could have done differently is that I walk back to my tower and not into him after his hook, this way I wouldn't have to flash away from him

I think he is good va Yasuo, decent vs akali (can be tricky after first recall but becomes fine after your first full item) and yone is a hard matchup that can easily snowball out of your hands.

i know you’re the Garen god, but don’t you think you can have an easier time with conq into darius? you can lvl E spin into him, get a favorable trade while getting xp lead and get some spicy kills on lvl 2 with ignite. most Darius players go super ego while before 3 you can destroy them with Garen

Most darius players in GM+ have an ego for a reason and can easily win early even if you have ignite conqueror. If they do missplay then yes, its easier to kill them with ignite and conqueror but I instead choose to get a guaranteed great mid-late game with ghost + phase rush as that has way more impact in teamfights past laning phase.

Why take ghost over ignite against Darius?

i think just ghost to reset darius bleed is game winning than having some bit of true damage and he outdamages you anyways

The thought process is that I can somewhat survive the lane easier with ghost, if he tries to run me down with ghost I pop it myself and survive. The other reason is that ghost scales way better and has much more impact in team fights later on in the game than ignite does. TLDR: It helps to survive lane and you can impact the map way more and be more useful for your team later on :)
