আজ যে মুভিটার এক্সপ্লেইন করতে চলেছি সেটা একটা ওয়্যার জনরার মুভি, তবে কিছূ সায়েন্স ফিকশনের ছোয়া তো থাকছেই! মালদোভায় শুরু হওয়া গৃহযুদ্ধে জরিয়ে পরেছে আমেরিকা। কিন্তু একটা অদৃশ্য শত্রু, যাকে ছোয়া যায়না, ধরা যায়না, গুলি করেও হত্যা করা যায়না, শুধু আবছা একটা আলোর রেখার মতো মনে হয় তাকে। আর এই শত্রুর বিরুদ্ধে লড়ে চলেছে কিছু আমেরিকান সেনা। কিন্তু বলাই বাহুল্য, শত্রুরা আমেরিকান সেনাদেরকে নির্বিচারে খুন করতে থাকে। উপায়অন্ত না দেখে মালদোভায় উড়িয়ে নিয়ে আসা হয়, মার্ক নামে এক বিখ্যাত গগলস স্পেশালিস্টকে। এরপরে যা জানা যায়, তাতে আত্মা কেপে ওঠে পুরো সেনাবাহিনীর। সেনাদের কাছে ভয়ঙ্কর সব অস্ত্র থাকলেও, কাকে মারবে তারা? খুনিযে অদৃশ্য, ভোজবাজির মতো উদয় হয়ে, খুন করে চলে যায় সে। তবে শেষ পর্যন্ত উৎঘাটন হয় এক ভয়ঙ্কর টুইস্ট। যেটা আপনার চিন্তা ভাবনাকেও উলট পালট করে দিতে বাধ্য। তো এরকম দুর্দান্ত একটা প্রেক্ষাপটে তৈরি একটা মুভি হচ্ছে স্পেকট্রাল।
