Cannon Mtn is gnarly. Big, steep, cold, windy and dowsed in plenty of snowfall each season, it's New Hampshire's glade skiing paradise. In March of 2014 the mountain received 25" of fresh and Griffin Dunne met up with local Stacey Rachdorf to reap the goods.

What type of poles they got?
Nice lines, some fun ones in there. Entry level though. You need a non local who randomly knows the secrets of the mountain better than most of the most in the know locals; maybe someone who knows lines even the locals don’t know. Pay for my ticket and I’ll show you.

do you guys hike in the woods for spots to get clips at that mountain or are all these spots accessible through the public ski zones?

Its pretty hard to find stuff like this at Cannon unless you know where you're going. All the in bounds glades kinda suck and the secret spots arent as obvious as they are in VT.
I’ve always wanted to ski Cannon even with latterly everyone telling me it’s not fun to ski. I pass it almost every weekend but I’ve never gone

You have to watch out for bad ice because connon is a north facing slope

Most of the ski resorts face north. That's how they hold snow.
