Awesome video. However, my website isn't displaying but showing this error when I click on preview error, "Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function astra_html_before()"...how can I fix it pls?

My site is working well with the Astra theme. Does changing to Spectra could break it?

For a magazine style site, would you use Spectra One or Astra with the Spectra builder? Also, for the front page I was planning to use the PostX plug-in which is also Gutenberg-based (lifetime deal on Appsumo right now). Is this a good solution - or does Spectra have similar features so I wouldn’t even need PostX?

Both could work well, but at this point Spectra One is still new so if you need more options right now, Astra would be a good choice :)

When can we expext the dynamic content option to be available? I love using Spectra but for now I also have to use Generate blocks to create templates for my custom post type template.

It looks great, no doubt, but as I understand you can build "static" pages, cool one, cool way... But, when I need, for example on "landing/home" section: News... From template I expect, I set the formating, theme, for example that last 3 topics should be shown... And, have, for example "form" for specific user, where he create new "News", upload pics, write description... and save this new "post"... And, because of "template" on home page last 3 posts are shown, don't need to again edit the main/home page, add "News", remove old ones.... It's "just appear, based of defined formating...

Spectra is built on top of the WordPress Core Editor, so technically you could build a property management website. Spectra Pro and the Dynamic Data extension may suit your need and you would also need something like ACF or similar.

Does Spectra function with Elementor?

I've been fighting with spectra for hours trying to get my header right. The system is unwieldy, unintuitive, and the help videos spend half the playtime talking about how great spectra is without actually telling you how to use it. It's a frustrating product and I absolutely do not recommend it.

If we're currently using the Elementor pagebuilder, does Spectra have the option to import design settings from Elementor?

Sorry this is currently not possible.

When i edited the mobile view, it affected the tab and desktop view. I was asked to switch on responsive mode in the settings of the plugin but i didn't see any setting like that. What do i do?

same here, when i edit the mobile view, it changed all the other view also. and i am not even installed spectra. it automatically installed and doesn't let me work with elementor. really struggling

@10:26 you have the "eye" icon to hide the title. Fresh install here and there is no "eye" icon from what I can see. I'm using Firefox build 116.0.2 on Windows 10 64bit. Any idea why this icon is absent?

This is actually theme-specific (Astra in this case), not part of the Spectra plugin itself.

Sounds promising, with compatibility with Gravity Forms, MemberPress, The Events Calendar, and other popular plugins. Is it compatible with Rank Math and Croco Blocks?

Spectra and Elementor can be installed and stay together on a website but they work separately. Elementor works on its own page builder while Spectra works on default WordPress editor.

How can I get the old view of Spectra? Because all of these tutorials are obsolete for the user today... It's all in different places.

How do I make more pages with Spectra? If I add a new page, that will be completely blank. I expected it to use the theme as a base for all pages. How does that work? Squarespace was so much simpler than this...

Spectra is free, comes with a ton of value and you can definitely build a full websites with it (tip: combine it with Starter Templates). If you need more features like dynamic content for example Spectra Pro is a premium product.

we all want something like elementor that works on wordpress editor (gutenberg) so we will have more stability and speed , no body has not done it yet not even spectra

Nice video, but I've found Spectra to be a super slow and buggy web builder that makes building websites so frustrating. I've been through forums and just find more people complaining about issues and slowness. When you're trying to increase productivity with these tools, the last thing you want is to be slowed down by having to redo simple things and having to wait for the tool to catch up with you on each operation. So, it's a bit immature and still a work in progress in my experience.

why spectra auto install with the template? We don't have options to not to work with. Please don't do like that. Its not even work properly.

Nope im totally lost, what im seeing your examples is not the same as what im seeing. Two days im no futher on thatn when I turned wordpress on. I had no idea it was so difficult to build a simple site.

Yeah everyone has an opinion. First off i dont wanna be messing around with spotify or a radio while watching tutorials. But i also dont wanna see a video with no background noise at all thats just boring and makes for a bad video. This is a youtube problem, youtube should have the option of muting the soundtrack as music is usally a seperate audio track anyway and im sure it could detect that. As for the other guy… no, having the guy pop in and out of the video as scenes or down in the corner is a good thing. Again just a newb level content creator or a work safety video would be the youtube tutorial with only voice and screen capture, that would make for the most boring video and the creator here definitely knows how to make an engaging tutorial video. Thanks man.
