Spectacular CROSSWIND LANDINGS during a STORM at Amsterdam - BOEING 747, B767, Airbus A340 ... (4k)

Stormy wind gusts up to 45 knots caused spectacular crosswind landings at Amsterdam Schiphol last saturday. This video shows the incredible skills of the pilots and why they deserve the high salary they reveice. Check out the extremly rare Airbus A340 of Surinam Airways which came in a little low which caused the pilots to bring the engines to maximum power for a few seconds. (You can see some smoke)
I don` t know why the bird control vehical parked on the grass near the runway but the position was quite perfect for me. It looked even more spectacula with the tiny car standing right in front of the heavy planes which faced the bird control vehicle right before touchdown. Most pilots alligned with the runway after touchdown.

Those Icelandair pilots buttered that landing! I mean they are used to it, the weather in Iceland is unpredictable. All the pilots did an excellent job 🛬

@@hueyrosayaga I flew with Ryanair Madrid-Dublin a couple months ago and the landings were pretty smooth. I was like "this is what people complain about?" and then I saw a video of an actual firm landing. Yep, Ryanair pilots don't do shit landings, in my experience with them anyway.

I was on the klm flight at 1:21 klm 662 was the flight number flew in from HOUSTON TEXAS, awesome to see this!!!! Awesome capture as usual. This was an awesome ifr approach i think we broke out about 500-600ft agl. I also have footage of the approach to landing from inside the cabin if you like i can send it to you when i get back to the states on the 27th.

I never tire of watching your videos of those beautiful planes being flown by amazing pilots. Thank you! (And I think the ducks were actually some of those pilots after their flights. Relaxing and getting a bit of supper.)

I am not expert but I think that A330 does outstanding landings. I notice it here and also to other videos . Very stable and tilt from side to side very nice and also the fact that touch down with back pair of wheels. Just my thoughts

Did Air Transat deploy the reverse or just let the plane roll all the way to the end? Seems they didn’t do so upon touch down.

They may have chosen not to use the reversers due to a maintenance issue, ie a reverser locked out or purely for performance reasons, they decided not to use them.
All I know is that I wouldn't like to be in these flights!
Интересно,это пилоты в ручном режиме на посадку при таком ветре заходят ли все таки на автопилоте?... А то сейчас кругом все твердят ,что их ,, ничему,, не учат. Спасибо.

На руках , дружище, только на руках в такой ветер. У автопилота есть сильные ограничения для посадки с боковым ветром. В такую погоду никто в автомате не садится .

Не у каждого хватит духа ,да ещё и такая ответственность за пассажиров и за самолёт,но это их работа ,и делают они её Слава Богу хорошо , может даже и отлично - судить не берусь т.к я не пилот! ...и всем мягких посадок!!!🤗

your lense is dirty. well...there is a little dot on the left side on the screen. (first seconds under the left wing) 😉 but don't get me wrong - i like your videos edit: non of these landings was "spectacular". the only exciting(-ish) was the landing at 9:08 - and the nice 747. i ask you friendly and seriously: why do you write "spectacular" in the title, when all landings was absolutely normal and regular ?
Quite simply, this is fucking awesome.
