@Dufus How long did you think 🤔 to come up with that original? 🤣 Your screen Name cracks me up, I used to call my 2 brothers both Dufus back in the 70’s & early 80’s. I’d smack them upside their skulls for doing something stupid. I was the oldest so I was like Moe of the 3 Stooges when I’d pop their Noggins with my bare hand for doing something stupid & say don’t be a Dang Dufus! 🤣 It must have worked knocking the Dufus outta them Because The Oldest of the 2 Got his bachelors Degree in HVAC. So Now he installs and trouble shoots very Large Sophisticated heating and air-systems for very large businesses & very big homes & doing well for himself. Then The youngest had a IQ very High & got chosen in 1992 as one ☝️ of 250 of the smartest high school seniors boys to Go Meet Congress and be awarded🥇for High Academics. They also chose 250 High IQ girls from around the country to go meet Congress. He went into the Navy’s electronics 6 year Program on a Nuclear Submarine. So now he’s a Computer electronics Engineer for a well know company! So smacking those two upside their heads and knocking the Dufus outta them made them what they are today! Dufus I still Tell them they became successful because All the times I smacked the back of their hard heads & Knocked some sense in their heads! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The ranch next door is for sale at 39.8 million for 6900 acres, then Rose city {Gould Ranch} is for sale for 13.7 million with 3500 acres, then Michelle Phifers ranch is for sale for 5.2 million with 178 acres soo if you have 87.2 million dollars you can have all of them, one contiguous parcel with 5 HOA payments of 34,000 a year each...High plains has 2 HOA payments. Much better in person.. have seen all of them.

You'll need to be very wealthy as the bills, not to mention hired help you'll have to have to maintain this Goliath...I would think $250,000 - $350,000 a year just in maintenance, and utilities...

With that big of a home, nobody is going to run all over just to get to one of them. Besides - guests, family members, etc. You wouldn't have only 4

Very beautiful but the home and yard, and pool are too close to the wooded area! You get a lot of varmints coming into your house when you put the home that close, it should have been in a clearing with the tree line or wooded area around it.You will have every spider, field mouse, garden snakes and bugs in the house! Oh yes, they find their way in, because to them they don't know the difference between your house or their woods!

Biff's response immediately below nails it in a nutshell, but having had an incredible high mountain ranch five miles above Evergreen, Colorado up Upper Bear Creek half way up Mt. Evans in altitude (the beautiful 14,271' snowcapped peak the networks always show sometime during the Denver Broncos' Football Games). My Ranch was bordered by a Wilderness Area between the me and the next town west around 55 miles or more to the west on the other side of Chicago Peaks. I had a resident 100 head of elk (who weren't a nuisance even when they would bed down against the granite boulders of my foundation for radiant warmth), bears, mountain lions, coyotes, on at least one occasion two well traveled wolves from somewhere up north, porcupine families (which WERE an expensive nuisance the first two times my Husky jumped them and I had to drive all the way down to Denver for a midnight Vet visit, but subsequently decided I could pull a mouth, tongue, gums and throat full of quills with my needle-nosed pliers from that idiot Chinook just as easily as a Vet could and $125 cheaper, which was a lot of money in the second half of the 70's) and a gazillion chipmunks. None of those were any "varmint" problem, other than getting stalked by a mountain lion from my High Point of Rocks a third of the way down to the top of the huge, open bowl meadow my old ranch house and log stable, calving shed hay shed two story barn sat down in the bottom of, and that was because I hadn't thought to take my pistol with me... ONCE! I had a couple of house cats who took care of the OCCASIONAL field mouse who would foolishly trespass, along with the occasional slow-footed, dimwit chipmunk which dared to show its whiskers when my cats were about, but NO varmints of any import ever tried to come inside, except for a couple that worked for me in the logging industry. And they had been invited for some of my steak cookouts down in front and below of my "new" ranch house built in 1916 to replace the original old homestead ranch house. You don't know whereof you speak. Animals are up in those mountains and have been living there a lot longer than humans have been, as the earliest human habitation in North America has had their estimated habitation as Folsom Man moved back from 12,000 B.C. to an estimated 21,000 B.C. after the relatively recent Buffalo Kill Site found just 12 miles before the start of the eastern Oklahoma Panhandle, three miles above Fort Supply, which had been Sheridan's and therefore George Custer's base during the Southern Plains Indian War. As per your statements, I think if you ever actually were to live in the mountains, whether a little old ranch house or in a mansion, you would know what you would be talking about rather than conjecture... whether "visualised" or actually experienced. Just sayin'...

Bill... I have a friend who leases Gummint land in northern Colorado and has a ranch on it whose closest neighbor is _only_ 25 miles away. It's awfully nice just to be able to go there on a regular basis to get away from everything. Not completely "off the grid" mind you - he still has landline service, indoor plumbing and electricity but no reliable high-speed internet connections either via cable or satellite. But just to get away from the world in general for days at a time, being out in the wilds and generally "goofing off" in nature is a therapy unto itself. Nothing like this video, but an amazingly comfortable 4-bedroom ranch that has all any sane person could ever need in the high country.
