You're doing a great job with your reviews. Ive watched most of your reviews on the 7 plus cases and fell in love this this speck presidio case in black. Its going to look great with my matte black iPhone 7 plus that i haven't received yet..

Have had this case for about two days now, and LOVE it so far. Recently upgraded to the 7 plus about 2 weeks ago and until now had been struggling to find a good case. Very well built, easy to hold, and slim yet protective at the same time which is a tough balance to find these days. Kudos to Speck on another solid product!

Great Video as always u deserve millions of subs because of the amazing quality u have. I'm so excited for my matte black 7 plus sucks that I'm getting it in October but o well I can wait. I think I'm gonna get this case the black case looks very stealthy especially with the matte black iPhone.

If it says it is case compatible, then it will probably be OK. I don't know anything about the Zagg Privacy Glass, but I'll be reviewing the Zagg Glass+ in the next few days and will try to check out its fit with the Presidio Grip...

Matte blk 128 with the blk Speck case.

Wow this looks so much better i wanted the black one last year but didn't like how the glossy plastic would scratch and i didn't like the gray color grips.

I assume, from your other comments, that you mean the UAG Monarch and the Tech21 Tactical Extreme? What do you think so far? They are very different cases. The Tactical Extreme is going to give you more drop protection and it has port protection as well. It is overall a tougher case. However, it is quite a bit bigger than the UAG Monarch as well...

Very nice review! Do you think that Spigen Tough Armor Case is a better option?

Both are very good cases, and very protective. The Presidio Grip is much grippier than the Symmetry, and while this makes it really hard to drop, it can be harder to slide in and out of pockets and bags. The Presidio Grip has a better warranty than the Symmetry...

i'm doing research on cases and this design grows on me too . however i noticed a few cracks near the ports and buttons in your video, which worries me about the durability and protection provided by this case...

Not really, but it is quite lightweight. If you check the manufacturer's website, you may see some weight info there...

I’ve had this case for about 4 months now and it’s falling apart. The soft rubber is splitting away from the hard plastic when putting the case on the phone. This makes it very difficult to get the case on. It has always been a pain to get on and off since day one. . I’ve always had a good experience with speck candy shells in the past but can’t say the same about the preside grip. I’m going to try my luck with the ace pro case. Hopefully I’ll have a better experience.

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear about your experience. There are some bad Presidio Grips floating around (it seems like Speck had a defective batch, maybe), but most are good. Contact Speck--your case should still be under warranty--they should be able to help you out. They have very good customer service, from my experience. Good luck!

Wow, that's nice! You'll love the 7 Plus. I'd go for the Matte Black though, I think. The Jet Black apparently has real issues with fingerprints and scratching, despite its super cool look.

I can't really say yet...early days!! But this is definitely one of my top choices so far. Love the Presidio Grip! In fact, when my Mom asked me what kind of case she should get for her new iPhone 7, I recommended the Presidio Grip, so I guess that says something :) Thanks for watching!

Omri Ya Definitely avoid the symmetry, it's waaaaay to slippery.

Have the rubber parts worn at all? I've read reviews that state the rubber wears quickly

100,000 Subscribrs without a video CHALLENGE Trust me, it doesn't bother me one bit... It's a faint noise that comes from the back of the phone... Most computers make the same sound. I wouldn't have even noticed it if it wasn't all over the internet. Everyone always hating on iPhones because they're clearly superior to most Androids.

Hi Esra! I'll be reviewing the Speck Presidio Clear+ Glitter soon...I just got it in the mail a few days ago. It is the onyx color, not the clear one, however. I imagine that for your phones, you would want the regular clear version with the glitter, but I probably won't be reviewing that one :( My favorite cases are probably the Speck Presidio Grip and the OtterBox Symmetry, at this point... Hello, thanks for your reply. I read on amazon reviews that the glitter+ was hard to put on and take off. It is mom's Xmas gift so I want to get a durable case for her use. If it is slippery and hard to put on I will look at other alternatives. She wants something to color match with rose gold and look stylish. She hates Otterbox because of colors. I am thinking of caseology skyfall or ringke air fusion. I will hold off a couple of days until you review it. Thanks.

Has she looked at the OtterBox Symmetry Clear cases? They will let her beautiful phone shine through, and they have a nice grip on the sides...at least the iPhone 6s Plus ones did. I haven't actually reviewed the 7 Plus Symmetry Clear yet, but I expect it is excellent. I can tell you right now that the Speck Presidio Clear+Glitter is not a grippy case. It is relatively slippery (although protective). As far as difficulty in getting it on, I thought it was fine, but it does make that odd squeaky noise that all the Speck Clear cases make when they are going on or off...

Some of the reviews from amazon for this case are bad. They say the grip is not as grippy as the one for the 6/6s plus and the case seems to be cheaply made. Makes me think if I should get this case or not...

Well, I've heard that from a few people, but I've also heard the opposite. It could be that there is a bad early batch out there. In my opinion, and I've reviewed lots of cases, including many of the CandyShell Grips for previous generations of iPhones, it is well made case that offers a lot of value to the buyer. It is a little thinner and lighter weight than previous Grip cases, but that is due to a change of materials used and I don't think it means that the quality is any less. If they were using poorer quality materials, the drop height would have gotten lower, instead of more than doubling. As far as the amount of grip, I do think it is slightly less grippy, but I view that as a positive, rather than a negative. The original CandyShell Grip design is so grippy that its pocketability is impaired. This one is plenty grippy, but it is also easier to slide into your pocket. I got this case as well and as a speck "grip" series fan for years I'm finding it to be not as good as past iterations. The lip is thinner and less raised than before and the fit is not quite as tight/exact as in the past. How would you compare with the past candy shell grip models?

It is a bit thinner, and doesn't fit quite as tightly as the CandyShell Grip, but I like the new version better, to be honest. Many people found the CandyShell Grip to be too hard to get off...they are not going to have that issue with the Presidio Grip. And I find the more refined grip strips to be more to my taste. Each to his own, though :) Thanks for taking the time to share your views on it...

I wanted to follow up to these impressions. I tried another color in this same case tonight at Best Buy. The fit is much better. Looks like the rubber injection has much fewer imperfections too. Not sure if my original was part of a bad run. Still wish there was more lip but it's "stiffer" on this one? Back to 4.5 stars for me

when you press on the back of the case while on the phone, does it have any give? or is it just flat and solid???

Don't buy these. I had it less than 24hrs and the rubber started paling apart. The matte plastic feels so cheap and the case is not as grippy. Candyshell is so much better.

Quality of these cases are garbage compared to the iPhone 6 Candyshell

Wow! Pretty strong feelings, there! I've come across postings on some of the accessories forums out there which seems to indicate that there are some bad Presidio Grip cases out there. If you bought one that you are unhappy with, you might want to contact Speck for an exchange or refund...
