Is this all you need to know for aqa because why is has the textbook got other things like homologous characteristics etc , I’m generally confused does anyone else agree?

why is the answer to which class does white-fronted ground dove belong to aves?

Hi! A lot of the time, the domain isn't included, so this diagram starts at the kingdom (Animalia). So if you go through the order of classification (kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus species), then the class is Aves. The three domains that exist are eukarya, bacteria (sometimes referred to as prokarya) and archaea, so if they aren't included, then it starts at kingdom. Hope this makes sense!
