Special Right Triangles - 30 60 90 - Geometry & Trigonometry | SAT Math

This video tutorial provides a basic introduction into 30-60-90 triangles. It explains how to find the value of the missing side of other triangles using the 30-60-90 reference triangle. This information is useful for high school and college students studying geometry and trigonometry and for students studying the SAT math and ACT math sections. This tutorial contains plenty of examples and practice problems.

    MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank for another fine explanation of the 30-60-90 Special Right Triangles

  • @MIDdiveos
    @MIDdiveos14 күн бұрын

    If you guys don't get it, here is a simpler way: Let the side across the 30 degree angle have a side length of x. Let the hypotenuse be 2x, and let the side across the 60 degree angle be x times sqrt(3). Using algebra, you can find different side lengths by having one. For example, if the hypotenuse of a 30-60-90 triangle is 54 units long, the side across the 30 degree angle is 27 units, and the remaining side length is 27 sqrt(3).
