Leon needs bike gloves to protect his hands when wheeling around. It’ll help a lot. Make sure to lotion up his hands regularly so the gloves don’t callus up his hands. LOVE his new chair! Y’all are the best!

I love Leon's chair, and he looks awesome in it. I worked in a school for children with special needs for 15 years( i loved working there so much. I got so much joy seeing the progress these kids made and how their faces lit up when they made new strides) One of my greatest experience in life was working there. I also raised my stepson who is Autistic. He is now 35 and just the most amazing man. You guys are truly wonderful parents and do everything to make life easier(better) for Leon. He is doing amazing, and Theo well my goodness he is just adorable. Love to all of you!

Leon looks like a cool big boy in his new chair. It won’t take him long to learn how to use it. To fix the sleeve issue, you can cut off the sleeves from an old rain coat. Sew elastic in both ends of the sleeves and wear these over his shirt. Someone else in the comments also mentioned clear sleeve guards. Same principal. Just looks more stylish but also more expensive.

hey, you guys should ask about sleeve guards, clear water proof ones are best because you can still see the shirt colour, but it also is water proof which is nice and easy to clean

I love Leon's hat he looks so cute wareing it, Mr Leon's wheelchair is amazing, he loves useing it, this will give him his own independence and he will be able to do a lot more stuff for himself, I'm loving Johns DIY Tips, can we have more DIY &Cookin tips, keep safe and well, God bless you all and happy Christmas to you all

Yes we picked that type of chair so he could gain some independence but he will only be using it for transport like the grocery store or the mall some place that requires a lot of walking any other place like the park or therapy sessions he will use his walker
