Yes the high note towards the end is a highlight, but there are so many nice details throughout the song. You notice more the more you listen. Like the way she flutters her voice at 1:07 is such a small thing but is so rewarding to hear.

If you search “Solar” on iTunes and go into albums, you can find “VINCENZO (Original Television Soundtrack),...” and that has the song as well as an instrumental-only version

This deserves to be played in every Vincenzo episode.

For example, I thought Ddun Ddun Ddun would have been a good one to write about because at the time there weren't many channels with full theme songs. I felt the With You performance on Immortal Songs 2 was also not covered as extensively as her strawberry leaf episode. But anyway, I agree that performing more naturally creates more opportunities to be covered

solar's voice is so powerful

Solar singing "So leave me now" at the most attractive way makes me feel so confused like "Ma'am how do I leave like this?"

The song started playing on the background and I thought “oh I like this song. This Western singer is really good and her voice is very smooth.” So I went back to KZread to see who it was and it was none other than our Yongsun. She gives me that veteran classic Western singer vibe here

Solar's high notes are graceful.. I was never a fan of high notes in general because most of them sounded like they are screaming.. But after I listened to Solar, I knew she was the one who can do it gracefully

Really like this song. Solar's voice perfectly describes the mysterious feeling of this thriller with love, hate, and sacrifice. Her voice is so rich with multiple layers of emotions that constructs this Bond-like feeling of the song. An excellent song with a perfect singer. Solar's singing talent is unrivaled.

I love the way you've articulated it! And I love how different this description is than how we would describe her voice in all the other songs she sings. She has an endless array of feelings and vocal skills to draw upon when singing. I mean just looking at her OST songs, the her singing Adrenaline feels like a completely different artist than the her singing Blue Bird, Always, Be With You, and Winterblooming. It is mind-boggling

@@3rationalfans I must admit that I actually felt unfamiliar when I first heard Blue Bird with that soft and soothing vocal which is different than the soothing vocal in Solar Emotion, especially I was mentally wrecked by her powerful performance in Mamamoo's Killing Voice back then. Her voice in Solar Emotion is powerful but more classic and soothing in emotional interpretation, which is different than the soft and healing that I feel from Blue Bird. Adrenaline is in another level of surprise. It is a hard song with a lot of high notes but also sensational low notes, then a segment of continuous beltings. However, Solar approached it with multiple layers of emotions, in particular she screamed for the high notes to express the desperation while she could belt it with her soulful and powerful voice like in I miss you. Allow me to elaborate more. It took me sometime to fully appreciate Always, be with you! Because I was not that familiar with her soft vocal like falsetto and would beg her to wreck me with her power. However, after listening more, I fall in love with her soft voice as it brings some silky delicacy into the music and it is very refreshing, especially it is about love in spiritual level between young people. Now that Dun Dun Dun is out, her vocal talents shine again. The rap, the low notes, the whistling falsetto, and that I'm the best sassiness interpret the song perfectly again about a story of three business women cut-throat fighting blindly. She really brings drama into her singing that makes each OST unique. Not OST, but I would never imagine that she would transform her soft vocal into a honey-like voice in HONEY that completely blew my mind away again. After that, every sentence she spits out becomes honey for me and I don't think there is a cure for that.

@@margeeburnburn736 You have such a way with words, and I love the way you break down the nuances when she sings more softly. I always say that the reason she can bring across infinite variation in her voice is because she works backward from the emotion she wants to elicit. Her vocal technique and tone are in service of that feeling, so it can take on so many different forms. It is difficult for other people who don't listen to all her works to appreciate just how rare that is. Thankfully there are people like you to point it out🥰

Solar shines brighter than any of those lights in the room.

This ost gives off James Bond soundtrack feeling, Solar did so great, maybe in the future her solo works, with next solo album we will be able to get English version of title track so more people could discover her 🥺

I was watching vincenzo and this song started playing during the horse scene and I was like isn't that mamamoo solar's voice , so proud of myself

I got a Netflix subscription a few weeks back. I was watching Vincenzo and I didn't even know this was sung by Solar. Absolutely stunning. I thought it was some non Korean artist because her Pronounciation is SO good. I loved this ost and drama. Thank you solar!
