    The only thing I would have done differently you already said -- the key light was a little too much. But since this is an ad, it makes sense to be a little on the high-key side, so it's not even "wrong", just my personal taste. Anything else is nicely done and looking really good!

    Thanks for the info, What tips can you give on directing the talent at the table, tips on where you get them to act and pretend to have conversations/laughs?

    Great breakdown! Very useful to see this kind of content. With the overhead lantern how did you avoid raccoon eyes?? Plus the cooler moon light was there a particular direction you were directing it with the softbox?

  • @TylerEdwards

    @TylerEdwards

    The lantern was sitting just outside of the frame, so the light was really soft and it was in the middle of the table and not directly overhead so that helped avoid the raccoon eyes. The moonlight light thought was really just to have it behind the scene to add color contrast and to flood the area. Since the trees added so much cover, i just blasted the light to fill as much of the background as possible

    Wicked breakdown! The video looks class, I’ve been intrigued by these lenses ever since they got released, how did you find using them? And how did they stack up to other anamorphics you’ve used?

    I love them. Such a beautiful image and actually love that they don’t flare like crazy like some anamorphic lenses do. Thanks for tuning in and also I love your KZread content. Keep it up!

    Ya the lenses are amazing but man are they heavy haha! The lantern is awesome. I ordered it as soon as it was announced. I also used the new f22 mounting frame and it is an absolute necessity when using the lantern.
