What's that half yellow fish, that's half black and white on the front side named? I can't find it.

It sounds like you might be talking about a Spanish hog fish

Sandbar tigers are cracking me up. I've probably got about 150+ dives off coast of SC not too far down and never see those hanging on wrecks or live bottom. They seem pretty comfortable with ya'll!

Get yourself a sharp spearfishing knife, or a really sharp kill spike. Brain that fish on your spear, pull him off and send up on a lift bag. Don't keep on stringer half alive. Will attract a lot of attention you don't want from those sharks. Watch my videos and let me know if you got any questions.

There are generally a few sand tigers on every wreck but the wrecks on the east side of cape look out shoals are loaded with them. They GENERALLY don’t bother you but one will surprise you every now and then lol.

I brain and bleed every fish. This was an exception because of the shooting line issue. Fish don’t make it on a lift bag around here with the barracudas and generally the boat is on anchor anyways.

@@Tyler_Whisner Gotch ya makes sense. Yeah we don't ever anchor the boat because most of the time we're diving long live bottom ledges so the boat has to follow. Funny how fish act differently in every area. We've got barracudas galore here and no exaggeration I've sent fish up on a bag through schools of 50+ of them before hanging mid water column. They never touched it.

Hello,, can you given me the name of that strobe light and its effective distance. Dealing with the same murky condition out of St. Augustine.

I think that one is a Princeton tec aqua strobe

@Tyler_Whisner how far can you see it?

Depends on the vis for sure but you can definitely see it further than you can see the anchor line in murky conditions. I don’t always use one but they can definitely be helpful

They are Amber Jacks. I just prefer other fish. I shoot one every now and then
