in the mic 90's Lion Fish were all the rave for home aquarium owners. Ohwait, that's the USA too, so I guess overkill and playing it unfair is your way of hiding your weakness. Now this comment wasn't necessary if it wasn't for your branding of any other country as 'shithole'. Diving with tanks is illegal in most countries around the world, and even in those where it is legal, most spearfishermen still prefer doing it on apnea. Now for the cleaning of lionfish from the reefs scuba is definetely the best, but that's more a sort of underwater work or job than hunting.

Spearfishing, in any form, is the most environmentally friendly way to harvest. Very selective of species and size and zero bycatch. Way to lose the forest for the trees. Go focus on bottom trawlers, purse seiners and poachers.

rogue warr difference is, sport fishers take whatever they pull from the water. Spear fishers can be more selective about the fish they take. They don't waste time reeling in under sized fish, a experienced eye knows which ones are legal and only shoots those.
