Spearfishing Double Island off Cairns QLD
Here is just a clip i threw together from a morning session spearfishing off a jetski in Cairns. A 5 minute drive from the boat ramp and you could be bringing home dinner. These group of islands and reef are where i originally started spearfishing and practiced so it is always good to go back and visit your old hunting grounds! A lot of people look past this area purely from what they hear from other people, if you know the right times and tides to hunt this area you will do well, i always manage to bag a feed. It is a great zone to start for beginners and young kids if you are wanting to get into the great sport!
