I don't get why fartshart didn't allow GK any of the longer melee weapons. C'mon, are you telling me that a Grail Knight, the "Lords of the Lance", don't even get a spear to use?

spear has amazing cleave, thp gen and wave stagger, with good headshot damage

It's Cleave potential is the same as a Great Hammer, high Stagger Cleave and Cleave though Armour (besides Super Armour) due to Tank modifier, it can also Stagger normal Elites easily. It has I would say about average Damage Cleave, it attacks faster than the Great Hammer die to faster Hoard/Mixed Hoards Attack Pattern, it's better as fighting infantry I would say, it's Single Target damage Vs armour is good only really on headshots spamming L1 and then Black Canceling. Mace and Sword does trump it in Damage Potential, but has less Stagger Potential, it can stagger normal Elites only with L1 - Block Canceling spam (no one seems to take advantage on on Live Balance), but only 1 at a time unlike Spear which can Stagger Groups up to it's Stagger Cleave Limit. Spear like other day is very safe, which is why it's one of the best options on Huntsman who is a Ranger Focus Class. It's a okay option on Merc if you want a less stressful play style.

The weapons you can and cant use on certain careers is weird and makes no sense sometimes, why cant WPoS use flail? Why is volley crossbow exclusive to shade? Why cant ranger vet use trollhammer? Why cant grail use spear or shield & spear or halberd?

WP can't use a flail because the company that owns the warhammer IP says what is and is not ok lore wise for fatshark to use in their games, and they don't want a WP to be a brute with a flail, that's also why the flail doesn't glow when you enter fury, and it at least has a shield paired with it.

Dark Elves (which sade is supposed to follow) use crossbows as they consider them superior weapons to the bows that the high and wood elves use. As for the flail, I do find it annoying that the WPoS only got to use the hammers and no other career gets to use them (besides zealot using 2 hammer weapons)

I would guess it's lore related reasons, like WPOS uses mostly hammers in the lore. Dark elves like the shade use crossbows but not wood elves. As for the ranger vet he is more of a Hunter so he uses mostly light ranged weaponry which in real life would allow him to travel long distances. Grail knight and I think Foot knight don't use halberd and spears because they see them as peasant weapons instead of the nobles that they are.

Firstly: it's his game he does whatever he wants with it. Secondly, if he did disable it there might be a good reason like relieving his pc. Thirdly if you don't like the video then don't watch it, are you a masochist? Forcing yourself to watch a boring video. And fourthly, if you think the fun in this game comes from blood and gore then let me ask you this: have you ever played the game? In high difficulties? Maybe try replicating what he did and see if it's still boring then. On that note I wish you a good day and may Fortune smile upon you.

He's considered one of the best players of this game in the world, it would make sense that he would min/max by making it easier to see things.
