Here is a live take of "Speaking in Tones", the title track off of our first album, released last year. This song has been a long time coming. It's based on an apartment that Evan lived in 10+ years ago, and it left a big impact. It was a chaotic time that inspired Connor to write this song many years later. There was sex, drugs, fights, heartbreak, homeless people and runaway kids, but there was also music. It was the one thing that brought all of the lost, confused and hurt kids together, and every night we played and sang songs together. You can trace Boot Juice's roots to that apartment and the nights spent wailing on guitars and howling at the moon.
