This reminds me of a story of a wealthy night club owner I knew back in the late 90's. He said he once hooked up a pair of Cerwin Vega house speakers to a 1000+ watt amp, why because he was bored, rich and had too much time on his hands. They kept increasing the wattage on the speakers because they had the audio equipment, he said they wouldn't blow no matter how hard they pushed those speakers. He said for the money, those things are indestructible.
