I'm impressed with this model made from Toro brand. This could possible change my mind about future purchase. Love to see airless tires...very convenient...

I doubt this model has anything to do with Toro, other than them acquiring Intimidator (parent brand) just recently. Toro mowers are largely junk and Spartan/Bad Boy mowers are the best. The only influence Toro may have in the future will probably be negative.

Why can't you get the 72" deck with the 40hp vanguard?

Bring back the laser cut metal! I just bought an SRT-XDe and was disappointed they put stickers in place of the laser cut metal for model. That’s cheaping out.

Curious with this type of suspension system how it compares to the ride of a Ferris? Also Ferris links the deck to the suspension to prevent uneven cuts or scalping when hitting a rut, what happens to cut with this deck when a wheel lifts of dips?

Ive ran ferris for 8+ years. You hit a low spot or hole and you scalp. Stop to fast and the shocks will give way a little and you get a lower cut in that spot. They arent perfect they just ride better.

Can you get that same exact machine 40 horsepower with the wheels and everything on 54" deck

No, the KGZ-XD is only offered in one model, 40hp Vanguard with Oil Guard and 61” deck

We are staying 100% independent but will be aligned with the Exmark team. I have complete confidence that this will be a big plus for both Toro/Exmark and the Spartan brand

I apologize for being a naysayer. But as a former 13 year business owner, and someone that has been through 5 merger/buyouts in my industry. And someone who watches and invests in businesses, and acquisitions, companies rarely if ever remain autonomous after mergers. With all good intentions with this merger, and good feeling that to with them, the greed of the boardroom big dogs will eventually win out.

@Muddy Mo River outdoors The gentleman who sold out Spartan mowers to Toro used to be owner of bad boys mowers

Not much difference between spartan and bad boy except bad boy uses I- beam front fork and 3 gauge steel for their commercial mowers and also their companies are next to each other.
