The chute block would be awesome on those days when the wind is blowing the cuttings directly back in your face. It happens several times per season here in Central Kentucky.

Yeah it’s pretty handy!

The #1 reason for a chute block is to keep grass out of the mulch beds. However they are not good for mulching the grass without the mulch kit.

Could you give me the measurement between the two mounting holes center to center on your hitch bracket? Thanks

J. Wallace Hey thanks for the comment. I saw the snow plows at the national dealer meeting but to be fair I didn’t pay much attention because I doubt we’ll sell many in Texas. I think they are well-built but I don’t have any personal experience with them.

Hey do you know of any chute options for the rz-c 42”? Seems all the ones by Spartan don’t fit the rz-c 42”

I'm ready for the snowblower option

There’s a grass catcher available.

I bought the front suspension kit, new kit is about 1-1/2" higher than stock, so now my mower deck is pitched higher in front, I have the gt trac 61" deck with the 25 hp Kawasaki , this model does not have the adjusting stud coming up from the deck, do You make a longer front deck connecting link, this appears what is needed to lower the front of the mower deck, help, how do I get this corrected

In our grass types it certainly helps. On the 2020’s it’s standard and I’ve been impressed with the improvement.

Spartan is selling a new canopy. Are these older ones on clearance?

The new one does not replace the old just in addition to. Not everyone like the much larger new version.

Have a problem with my 48" spartan when I turn the pto make a loud noise near the shutter. Wonder is the spindles. How u can greased

Much like most other mowers in the industry they've shifted to sealed bearings that aren't greaseable. Best thing is to remove the belt and turn the spindles by hand to see if you've got one going out. The spindles are rebuildable though so if you need bearings there's no need to trash the spindles.

Does anyone know where to get a bagging system that doesn’t cost kore than the mower? This might be a make or break for me on keeping or selling my unit. Love it but I need a bagger. I thanks

To be honest in our area we’ve have very little interest in that option. I know other dealers have done more with them. If I can come up with some more info I’ll pass it along.

Following up on my comment. I discovered that they recently added this option so I’m happy now!

I will never run a mower without the grass deflector, or I will run with a mulch block. My Dad used to deliver tires to filling stations in the 1950s, he got to one stop just as the ambulance was pulling out. the man in the ambulance was killed by a piece of coat hanger that was launched by a mower 1/2 mile away it went through his neck. within several years of this accident all new mowers had a grass deflector to slow down projectiles or stop them to prevent similar accidents.

Is there a bagger option?

Short answer.....no flats. We offer standard, solid and tweels. The tweels give you no flats while retaining some suspension vs solid tires.

Personally I love the tweels but we sell a lot of all types. However the tweels are taking over the solid tires in terms of sales numbers

What,about counter weights for the front end? Comes up to easily going up hills.

Counterweights are available. However in our area are pretty flat so I can’t say we’ve sold many.

When Toro, but Spartan, they began a safety review of all products. The quick shield as previously designed did not meet the safety standards. I’m told they’re doing a redesign and will release it at some point.

So has that seat cost gone up?

Yeah, I think this video is about four years old. Everything we sell has gone up. Still worth it though.

So no one know how to ajust the cotrol bar on the spartan mow i get it.

No. Baggers in our area aren’t very popular. We sell a few but not many.

I have the 61 inch HD and it's been problem after problem and the 2 dealers here are horrible I currently have hydrostat fluid all over my left rear wheel and empty tank I have no place to take it to so it can be fixed, now I have to attempt to fix it myself, I am sick of the hole situation and I am thinking about selling it and buy a gravely
