@@christopherburke2348 I found Atdi and I was in my aggressive teenage punk years, then Sparta was my favorite band, I could never stand mars Volta, it was just chaotic and sounded like people stoned and jamming.

Sparta is literally 3/5 atdi Tony’s incredible! Easily one of my favorite drummers. Don’t forget, DRMs and bass too dude. Sparta is tight. So is Atdi. 😎 these guys are literally my hero’s

I saw Sparta 5 times on their Wiretap Scars tour. Met Jim and Gabriel a couple times. Really nice guys.

Jim Ward owns several bars in El Paso where hes from and I love going to support his venues. Long Live Sparta

As a punk rawk kid growing up around El Paso I can say that Jim Ward has always been a straight up guy. He fought the stuff that they tried to feed us. In a situation like that he has always spoken out loud.

I would love to go to el paso more in that times it was 90s and beggining of te 2000s right ?? im From Juarez so i blame myself because when this came to mee, its was too late, BUT I ALWAYS LOVE American alt rock from earlies 90s to 2000, but things COME BACK ;)

I never actually gave them a chance and immediately it sounds like the first ATDI album. Which i didn't even know Omar was playing bass on.

This album was ammazing.. I saw them once when this came out .. they sounded so good

There are 2 mixes of this song. One is sharp and tightly produced, but there is another that is grittier and sloppier and rocks soooo hard. I'd love to compare the two. It really shows how Much a producer can change a song, or even the mix. The simple choices you make.

Will be seeing them perform this today. This video looks great...obviously shot on film as you can tell by the color and light (and date). If this had a 4k scan, it would look awesome. Seeing that this is from 2002 blows my mind.

ATDI perfect combination of control and chaos. Sparta represent the controlled rhythm section and TMV the chaos layered atop, they both lack something without each other for me personally.
