Honestly spartie was one of e main reasons I kept watching quake, just remember watching him play cypher way back in the day and even in team modes

Guess i'll shed some light on the excello question as i was pretty much the one that kicked the q3 team into life to begin with. Spart1e was a member of BCS aka Bouncers somewhere around 2005-2006 when he played in CPL nordic, that team was also ran by tomahawk (Albert Duarte formerly of zowie and now vaxee). I pushed creating a swedish q3 team for excello (was a member between 2005 to 2008 ish as a player and manager) as i was fairly close friends with rvd (4th/5th place at cpl nordic, 5/6th place at cpl singapore) as well as prox / prockz (who spart1e played a ton with at the time, and is more than likely the main reason why he said yes to excello as prox was more or less considered as one of the best duelers/tdmers in sweden despite not playing tournaments all that often). Tomahawk was initially not interested but after floating several top5 cpl placements with spart1e and rvd, and people talking about prox like he was the damn boogey man of quake he finally said yes. And in the end the roster was more or less spart1e,rvd,prox,louie and 2 other players i can't remember currently, and not much happened in terms of the team itself as rvd was forced to stop playing, prox disappeared like he does and the rest were more or less idling, leaving spart1e. If i remember correctly spart1e was a member of excello between 2006-2008 with the last event being ESWC athens, not sure if he played some online events under the team though, either way a year later he joined fnatic and the rest is history.
