You immediately see the difference between Muay Thai and MMA fighters. Thai fighters being more proficient with their kicks, but MMA fighters having more mobile footwork and using way more jabs

MMA stand up has really come on in the last decade.Fair play to these 2 lads,wanting to spar with the best thai boxers to improve.

Finally Liam is fighting somebody shorter than him. I love these sparring sessions-such good energy there-seems like an incredible environment to learn and experiment in. great work lads. Fergus is on that Haggerty path if he keeps it up-what a little killer.

In America, everyone wants the ‘big gym’ experience (cuz..‘Murcia!! Bigger IS ALWAYS BETTER! **fires off metaphorical guns in the air). And many guys feel that unless they are at a big gym with 30-50 guys on the floor the sparring isn’t ‘good enough’ for them. That’s fun once in a while. But nothing beats a small, intimate group of skilled and responsible fighters honing each other. You guys do it right. I wish more people here wanted to CULTIVATE sparring culture this way. Love this channel

Great fight. Shows Diakese can hang pretty well with the best strikers at 155

th speed and control on liam is just breathtaking...

Awesome sparring at the end with the junior fighter.

Diakiese vs. Craven and Liam was excellent to watch. High level stuff there. Craven's defense is outstanding, he blocks or smothers almost everything.

I love that the other guys Liam is sparring are top UK Thai pro fighters and a UFC fighter, yet he still makes sparring with them look easy.

The kids had so much potential he Gona be big names. Liam is actually nice😂

Hey Liam, I've been training Muay Thai for around a year now and just moved to a new, more reputable gym you could say and I was wondering how hard I should go in sparring. I'm pretty content with doing technical light sparring but half of the guys in the gym just go hard every time, should I insist on calming it down or is going hard just a better way to improve? I don't really the mind taking hits at all, I'm the type of guy to walk people down most of the time but I really do wonder what's better for improving.

Looking good hitman, how come we dont see the low calf kick in thai boxing? Yet seems to have alot of success in mma ?

Any chance you'd do a day in the life series of "the hitman" - training, nutrition - would be great to see

liam hitting hard with those leg kicks and that left kick, really suprised how little he throws the rear leg. marc doing some nice work from behind the jab, super impressed when he intercepted the low kick with a teep, was sitting thinking how quick they are and how it'd be basically impossible when he pulled it off. but fuck liam is a scary guy, then u watch him spar a kid and you realise he's trying to be.

Dunno how I feel about them heavy hands bro, only having fun but looking good lad

Marc, looks ok not sure his fitness level but some things he is still doing that get him in trouble in fights. The round with the #2 guy shows that when you overpower him many of his techniques go out the door. Not saying it to shame him i like him alot want to see him succeed.
