@@iansane3286 I listen to Kimono My House and Propaganda over and over. They are timeless masterpieces. Also love the first two; I often play "Fletcher Honorama" as I drift off to sleep. The marvel is that I think I love their last four or five albums most of all. I can't think of a single group or artist who can boast such durable creativity over a long career, not even Sir Paul!

@@aaronzook9540 they have certainly given us an amazing body of work which we can all pick and choose favorites and that even early Sparks have indeed weathered time and are still relevant to those that have an almost 50 history of listening to their unique sound. I’m so happy for Ron and Russell to have had an amazing year and they deserve it! I have tickets for April 2022 here in Toronto. The last time I saw them live was 1976. Patti Smith opened and it was an amazing gig for this then 17 year old.

Yep, agree and, as a pedant concerning appropriate use of language, agree with the word awesome too - it is in my opinion used entirely appropriately here.
Spectacular. There really isn't any other word for it, and this is not hyperbole. They have absolutely EVERY right to be this good at this stage in their career. A furious pop stomper drenched in wit, melancholy and an insight on the world at large that most bands could only dream of. Because they are not SPARKS.
Forever Sparks
This isn't just a beautiful piece of music. It is equally a stunningly composed track by Sparks. They are that rare breed of musicians / composers. Quite remarkable.

I am French, and I love so much the Sparks. This song is so magnificient ! they are great !! I'm happy to learn that they will be officially in Cannes with the musical film directed by Leos Carx, which will be released on July 6th; and happy also that a documentary is dedicated to them: release in theaters on July 28th. Let's all go there! ! since the time they deserve to be even more known, recognized
This really should top the charts the world over as there is absolutely nobody out there making music this good ? Stunning video as well......

Epic song and video. Viva brothers Mael.
I've known of Sparks for years but am only just starting to get them thanks to watching The Sparks Brothers documentary. There's real genius here.
How am I only hearing this now. Absolutely brilliant 😀.
The music, the lyrics and the visuals. We really don't deserve these guys .... when I listen to them I feel like I don't have a care in the world (even now with all that is going on in the world).
Sparks are the best Electro pop group ever !!! I went to the cinema to see the wonderful documentary.... Brilliant insight into the brothers early life and how they got into making Amazing music..
An amazing masterpiece.............video and song. Wonderfull also the unplugged version.
Been going to all kinds of concerts over 50 years. Thankfully I found Sparks this year. Wonderful music.
This is an awesome thumping pop anthem with a terrific keyboard riff, and should have at least ten times the YT views.

In each song, a movie !!! Sparks transports us all the senses and involves us within her song. How is this duet not gaining more recognition ??? They are honest, innovative guys, ahead of their time, their music is elegant and very digestible. Her flawless figure, like male clothing models. Always on guard. I totally surrender to Sparks.
There’s no one remotely close to replicating them. Living proof that age is just a number... 🎶😎

This is one of the best songs of the new millenium, and has been done by a 50 year old (so underrated) band. Hope they will be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next year, they largely deserve it.

What a pandemic pleasure, dipping in and out of Sparks history and current delights like Annette. Well, John Cale is still around, turns 79 next month. His musical career has never ceased to surprise with new musical ideas, due to his endless talent. But apart from The Sparks, John Cale and the late Johnny Cash, most musicians lost their creativity and knack to come up with great music in their older ages.
So happy to see the Mael brothers still kicking butt 😅

A great song for driving in the city, taking your own course and direction. Nice after sunset too, with the city lights come on. Simply grand!
pretty awesome song
It's a heartwarming song For the easily moved The effect is all wrong Plain to see I'm not moved As I stand in the light Of a shop that is closed God, I'd love me a fight There's no poem just prose Edith Piaf said it better than me "Je ne regrette rien" Pretty song, but not intended for me Time to put some muzak on There were no smoky dives Few amours, fous or not There were no petty crimes Foreign substances bought There were no midnight drives With a crime boss's wife Need a sentence at most In assessing my life Edith Piaf said it better than me "Je ne regrette rien" Pretty song, but not intended for me Time to put some muzak on Drunken and short-lived flings Montparnasse lights Holding a hand of kings My hunch was right When's that night? Edith Piaf said it better than me "Je ne regrette rien" Pretty song, but not intended for me Time to put some muzak on Live fast and die young Live fast and die young Live fast and die young Too late for that Too late for that Live fast and die young Live fast and die young Live fast and die young Too late for that Too late for that Think of one single night One so strong, you're aflame Well, I'm sorry, time's up Sorry, nothing will change Edith Piaf said it better than me "Je ne regrette rien" Pretty song, but not intended for me Time to put some muzak on Edith Piaf said it better
