Sparkling Ice Is Making Strong Headway in the Beverage Battle
If you want to see where the biggest beverage battle is taking place, head to your nearest supermarket. It's all about gaining grocery store shelf space for upstart brands like Sparkling Ice, which is made by Talking Rain Beverage. Even as soda sales are declining, Sparkling Ice still has to compete for shelf space with non-cola beverages distributed by big companies like Coke and Pepsi . But Talking Rain is making inroads. Kevin Klock, CEO of Talking Rain, tells TheStreet that the company should reach $1 billion in sales by 2018 as it continues to expand in the U.S. and abroad. One of Sparkling Ice's 'brand ambassadors' is basketball star Kevin Durant. While Talking Rain is privately held, Klock said he can't rule out considering any acquisition offers.

Bodyarmor is a great example of the flavors tasting exactly like the fruits. Strawberry Banana has a aftertaste that tastes like eating a banana, for example, and that one has NO artificial flavors, plus it comes with a lyte "stevia" option with a scratch amount of sugar. I wonder when will Bodyarmor/Sparkling Ice make a pear one that tastes like eating a pear for example?

Pomegranate Blueberry is my favorite. I've enjoyed Sparkling Ice from it's beginning.

I've been drinking these for a year like 1 or 2 a day. I don't even drink soda or juice anymore.

🤠 I enjoy drinking sparkling ice, like for real I do. I know sparkling ice been out for years now. so I would like to see them come out with a new flavor, which would be like a blueberry sparkling ice.

Its mostly stuff from *"healthy"* fanatics. Usually you wouldn't experience such effects unless you drink a TON of them at once. They're also the type of people that believe a *scratch* amount of sugar is instantly unhealthy, which is soccer if you ask me.

The Black Raspberry isn’t that good. I like all the others I’ve tried so far.
