Sparkle - Your Name. (Kimi no Na wa.) OST [Piano] / RADWIMPS

Музыка

Sheet music → mymusic.st/animenzzz/41483
『Your Name.』 was definitely one of the most iconic Romance Anime Movies of the last decade and until today, I still re-watch this movie at least once every year, just for the gorgeous visuals alone. I also jokingly call this movie a “2-hour Anime Music Video featuring RADWIMPS” because there are so many Insert Songs for this movie: 「Zen Zen Zense」, 「Nandemonaiya」, 「Katawaredoki」or「Yume Tourou」.
But the most important song is probably 「Sparkle」after all, because it’s featured prominently in the big climax in the movie, where the Comet is slowly approaching. I am 5 years too late, but here it is: My piano arrangement of the iconic song 「Sparkle」!
Since the central topic of the movie was “being connected to each other”, I tried to represent it in the music as well. If you listen closely, you will notice that there are many times, where the “voices” of Taki and Mitsuha are collaborating with each other. The “Sparkling” right hand Ornaments in 1:19 for example or the dream-like right hand melody in 3:03.
The most interesting part however starts from 4:04 onwards. After a long musical build-up, the Comet is falling through layers of cloud in the sky in 4:12 and what follows is a long moment of silence. Complete darkness. And then - from very far away - a miracle is happening in 4:22 because the world lines start to connect with each other again.
First, only the voice of Taki is playing in 4:39, but soon afterwards Mitsuha can be heard as well in 4:58. The music slowly builds up and finally, after many years, they find each other in 5:25 and that’s where the music is also reaching is Grand Finale. As a finishing touch, I also added some “Shooting Stars” in the right hand in 6:06 to give both Mitsuha and Taki my blessings - because why not.
And with that said, thank you for reading my mini novel!
I hope you enjoyed this week’s nostalgia trip and let’s hope Makoto Shinkai will deliver another spectacular movie like 『Your Name.』 again in the future!
I literally just re-watched this movie last weekend and after finishing it, I can’t stop but having good vibes for the next few days. This is literally the power of Anime. Just too good.
See you next week, everyone! (´・ω・`)b

Anyone still here in 2024?? Also btw whoever listened to this arrangement let me tell you this piece is really hard to play, just the beat and having seperate melodies for each hand is incredibly hard to balance. So thank you so much for this arrangement, I still listen to it in 2024, you are, by far, my favourite musician

There are a lot of things I would like to say to you animenz but out of all of them I would like to say that your music has truly touched my heart. I am not a super OG fan or anything and actually just discovered your channel 6 months back but I am so glad that I did. Your music has shown me how much the piano can do and inspired me to play the piano with an enthusiasm I had long lost. Whenever I want to clear my mind I sit in front of the piano and continue to learn your pieces because the difficulty makes it all the more entertaining and rewarding to play. I recently underwent surgery for my fractured wrist and I can say with absolute certainty that it is your music that has kept me going through the days of pain. Although I won’t be able to play the piano for a while I still sit in front of the piano and listen to your music and practicing with the one hand I have and it is still the most joyful part of my day. I can confidently say that you are one of the best arrangers of our time (def not biased here) and I hope to see you next week with the next cover. P.S. I’m waiting for your cover of My Truth (Your Lie in April) :)

But after experiencing various challenges, finally finding what I'm really into, and reaching a point of no return, I listen to this song again and find it is like my soul is vibing with it in a moment. Animenz, what a blast ! I've learned Theishter's 2017 arrangment before, and since I keep playing it, this song became somehow boring ( not because of Theishter's arrangment , but it's the feeling of listening the same song over and over again then grew bored ). But suddenly this video shows up. You gave me that feeling when I first heared the song in the theater. This performance really sparks my heart to play Theishter's arrangement again and of course yours. Thanks for giving such a wonderful experience Animenz ! 🌌🌌☄☄.

This is my favorite movie of all time and not only do I feel blessed to hear it so beautifully arranged but, YOU Mr. Animenz have made it possible for me to learn it for myself. Thank you so much. This movie is a really happy memory for me and the music transports me and helped me emotionally through a rough move I made 5 months ago. You are an amazing inspiration and always will be. Thanks for making pieces that can inspire people, help them reconnect with music, and even inspire some to play. You found a way to arrange already amazing songs and make them even better. Thank you for helping me (albeit unknowingly) through my move and thank you for the music that has helped me in some of my latest nights doing homework. You're amazing Animenz. Don't forget it. Thank you. God Bless
