Been playing with these since the start. Id suggest in multiplayer worlds to assign a player a colour as you can only have 10 of each colour. Still plenty. Great addon

@@ecko thank you. Along with a portal room . With 1 of every colour you have connected all players . (Reminds me of crash bandicoot 2's level selection portal hub)

what's fun is that even though you can skip the corners, if you add all the corners the blocks get a special texture.

also i didn‘t really like the hefty price tags most of these addons have but when i started to rethink that the modders (who put their heart and soul in these kinda things) it made me wanna buy all of the ones i even remotely like

I play offline solo survival, so being unable to get achievements is the main reason why I won’t cheat or go into creative when things get significantly inconvenient. Since the add ons do this as well it feels like something to avoid unless they can be justified and I’m just not going to pay a significant fee for an add on unless I’ve gotten a feeling that I will like it enough to include it in my game.

My only complains about addons right now is that they seem to always have to come with books, maybe it’s just in the guidelines to create a addon because Mojang doesn’t want someone to buy something and not know what to do with it / how to use it But I think it instead should be a options in the addon config menu (which btw, is a real thing, I have some unofficial mods that make use of the config menu so you can adjust things yo your liking) Like, a switch button; Guide book? *On* - off (On by default) (Actually, I wish the addons in general would make more use of that config menu, all I wish is to make the mutants and dragons rarer because I see one every mile, while some people will see then once every biome)

I remember this world when you were first playing in it, that was a very fun Let's play, I wish there's was a world download for Season 3

Hi Ecko i have a question for you why does only minecraft bedrock have the marketplace like why not turn the marketplace into a place like mcpedl where you have everything for free or add it to java because they look for parity ? (I'm not hating on mojang I'm just giving feedback )

Because people deserve to make money from their hard work, fun fact a lot of the marketplace stuff is made from Java modders who now make bedrock stuff 👍

Marketplace content also tends to be higher quality. Sometimes I feel like this isn’t the case (for example, the countless among us skin packs), but generally there is a lot more time and effort put into making these maps and add-ons.

If I had the add-on I’d probably like the green and the light green portals the best but also make a portal hub

You didn't need to do that with water... you could of used buttons, trap doors, string, etc to stop it. Or go out 128 blocks from the main island

They get access as long as you’re the host

I played that game

no portals on switch no activate button. Went to settings in game and out of game. found them in game. wont activate. also in storage. for deletion with warnings cant use. And from what I read in comments the addon WILL turn off achievements in my world. THAT SUCKS.

They get paid in actual money when people buy their maps. I'm not completely sure about the conversion factors though

The creator(s) gets a percentage of the profits (in real money). Although Mojang/Microsoft does also take a percentage, and I believe the App Store takes a percentage as well.
