I appreciate the input. I keep business running at my shop so I probably wont start that. I have to get clients in and out while doing it right. The last thing on my mind is worrying about socket sizes. Theyre all easy enough to figure out I do believe. I dont use anything but metric anyway so everyone would be yelling at me for not using a 1/2" when Im using a 13mm 😂

Well, according to this... Cylinders in MB V engines go 1,2,3 on the right side and 4,5,6 on the left side for V6. Itd be the middle one on the left side.

Correct. Left is the driver side.

Is it different for the clk 350 with the same engine

Im not really sure. I would imagine it would be simular with the same engine.

You forgot the clip at the top of the airbox lol

Is cylinder 1 on the left side.. I changed the spark plug and coil on my wife but it still has a mis. Even change the Purge value due to code that came up.. Light still won't turn off

Bank 1 is the passenger (right side). Cylinder 1 would be the first one toward the front on the passenger (right) side. Spark plugs and coils are a very common reason for a misfire. After that would be followed by the fuel injector possibly.

What is the torque spec for the spark plugs?

15-22ft-lbs is by manual. I believe I set them at 18ft-lbs. Its been awhile since the job.

could. my spark plugs cause my car not to start if battery good and starter is to? I have the same exact car and im not getting anything all lights up but no crank

Theres many things that could cause that. However, if youre not even getting a crank, it wouldnt be plugs. Id be leaning more towards the starter. If youre getting a click and have tested everything, you could have a siezed engine. This is not something I can diagnose for you on youtube. Sometines you just have to suck it up and pay for a real diagnostics.

I have the same car with the same problems. I found is the Ignition Starter Switch. It cost $1000 to fix it.

could be the ESL - Electronic Steering wheel lock - $1800 and can only be replaced at the dealership.

What cleaner did you use?

Thats just a little diluted purple power. I actually use Chemical Guys VRP now. Makes it look real nice. amzn.to/3rAZ2B5

What did you set the spark plug gap to?

Only thing I see wrong is not using gloves installing new plugs

I absolutely hate gloves. Never used them in 35+ years and have never had any issue, even with bulbs. Its not "wrong", its a choice. Only time I put gloves on is when removing something hot like an alternator.
