I love watching videos like "Polish language. Can a Bulgarian, a Croatian and a Slovak understand it?" or something like that since I'm a Bulgarian and I can participate in the Slavic challenges but I never expected to see 2 so different languages in such type of a challenge. I was sympathising with Can all the time haha. 😅 I have never learnt Spanish but I know some random famous words. As to Turkish I have been learning it actively for a long time and I understood the sentences (fortunately) but still found some of them confusing because often times Turkish is so metaphorical. And I love it as confusing and difficult as it is. 😅🇹🇷

@@007meow although he is wrong about most, most imported words in Turkish are from Arabic and then Persian. Arabic actually has more in common with Spanish than Turkish because there are a ton of imported Arabic words in Spanish not from Turkish. I get it Turks want to show a more enlightened European side but the reality is more different to interviewing people in certain "secular" areas.

Bullshit. Loan words in the Turkish language are around 10% in total. Arabic and Farsi together are therefore less then 10%. What you say make no sense! There are nearly as much French words as Arabic and around 90% pure Turkic words.

Funny One third of your language is Arabic. The second third is Persian and you deny that and act offended when people say that..but then you go around looking for 10 or 20 similar words between your language and European languages and brag about it!! This is called cultural and social denial.
