I wanted to create a Spanish guitar solo by mixing Asturias with malagueña and then ending with gratitude by Amin Toofani. Got any tips??

I would move Asturias down to the key of A minor in the 1st/open position to keep the original Malagueña riff based on that low open E chord… when the main theme of Asturias repeats and goes down to the phrygian mode that would be a good time to begin the Malagueña theme. I’m not familiar with the Amin Toofani song

I did a video a couple of years ago that mixes Norwegian Wood by the Beatles with Malagueña and a little bit of Bulerías

Scott, for me, it works the same as with women. First i learn the crazy ones and afterwards it is much easier to understand the rest 😜
