First, I watched the video without subtitles. Everything was clear: two elderly gentlemen met in the middle of a pedestrian crossing on a possibly busy street and then within about three minutes recalled the main events of their youth. Blackish humor, I thought. I understood the wonderful humor of this anecdote only after the second viewing, but that time with captions. It's muy buena , Alma, that all your videos on this channel have subtitles. And it's muy mal, Alma, that all your videos on another channel are without subtitles.

It's good to focus on the spoken words at first, reading can have a negative impact on your learning as a beginner. First get used to the sounds! ;)
