Interesting how Tony hasn‘t changed at all. Of course he‘s fourty years older, but his way of presenting and expressing himself is still the same. His style and class added so much to the band and the music.

I agree! He's still the exact same person as he was 40 years ago. It's great to watch his old and recent interviews, and seeing he hasn't changed at all haha 😂

They were so young

Thank you for uploading this. Interesting for me as it was just weeks prior at the age of 14 before I became a die hard Spandau Ballet fan and I’ve never seen this clip. The band had no idea in this clip that the release of True was going to be as massive and change their lives as it did. Amusing to listen to Gary Kemp’s broad cockney accent back then and how refined he sounds now.

Tony sounded articulate and insiteful. Gary sounded stupid and even more pretentious than he does now. This is why only the lead singer should speak. They are used to being in the spotlight and sell the band much better than the rest.
