Had a 10 ft one fall on my head the other day at work I do commercial roofing and we use these to lift the units out of the roof on big industrial buildings. Anyways i compression fractured a vertebrae in my spine. Luckily I had a hard hat or I probably would have had some serious head trauma. Or even be paralyzed. Very blessed to be here still and be able to walk and speak. I don’t think these are very safe tbh. The bases need to be longer to not be able to tip over and actually balance the weight of whatever you’re hoisting up.

Is this process used for your "e" series gantry also?

Thank you for your question, Timothy! Because the E-Series Gantry Crane can be much heavier, we recommend using an overhead hoist or lift truck to lift the components safely. Thank you again for your question! Let us know if you have any more.

Yes I noticed that too. See I'm building one for myself. I think a longer slip in on the bolted peices would eliminate some of that. Not too sure I like the open vee at the bottoms seems to be a possibility of fail. Simple cross connector would strengthen that. A gusseted steem on the cross beam
