15-20 min seems to be the perfect length (plus we all love longer videos ofc)

2:34 This small decision also reinforces corner fundamentals. Climbing the left side would require you to either drop back down or retreat across the doorway to cover, whilst climbing the right side allows you to use that corner as cover to both mask your shots and stay safe.

I personally prefer the more uncut gameplay. Seeing what you do between opportunities for shots is interesting. Thanks Arrge!!

Great vid Arrge! One of my biggest things i need to improve on as hanzo is positioning and i think a map tier list would be perfect to tell as to when to play like a spamzo or sneak around like an assassin

I like these kind of videos more cause its easier to learn from than just highlight clips that are way harder to learn from.

Man this video is great. I’m currently gold 2 DPS. I used to play a ton of OW1 but never comp. Just started playing OW2 again a few months ago and am getting slammed in comp but do fine in quick play. This video is great because you show what you’re doing before, during, and after the plays which helps me a ton. It’s little stuff I wouldn’t have even thought about or known you could do. Great video!

Cool breakdown of the two playstyles, especially the tidbit about how doing more damage isn't necessarily a good thing as it gives opponents more opportunity to build ult. A map tier-list with the playstyles they lend themselves to sounds great.

Thank you for disclosing this problem, it always a tug of war on what playstyle is the best and your vids does shows a lot . Always a big fan of Hanzo, and much respect to you to dedicate to Hanzo in both plays and character. Also your laugh at lowercase is adorable haha

Map tier list for spam would be cool but also in general, which maps you like and why, you like certain angles/etc.

I was very entertained by your over the top edits, but I kinda guessed that they weren't great for retention. Just letting you know that the previous style was not completely lost on your audience, and that the uncut style will be accepted just as well

I never really thought about my playstyle but this explains why I always tend to have a lot less damage on Hanzo compared to other DPS or even Hanzo players in general. My Elims and Final Blows tend to be high though with that low damage. It explains a lot. It also explains why I tend to have way more damage on King’s Row specifically

Arrge, I do not care if you over edit your videos or just make quicker highlights out of matches, as long as you keep doing you style of paying attention to the little things for comedic effects, like you slowing down the music when you choke or the rewinding you did with El Wiwi saving you from Rein, I'll be a happy viewer of the Master Assasin Hanzo.

i would say i have good aim but some games i dont hit even one shot, but I allways say to myself that there was no one to shot at to get a clean headshot. And now my question should i say to myself that i am not good and i have to train more or what should i do ?

I asked you about it one of these days in your stream. Personally i think spamzo brings more value to the team, and its pretty satisfying to see more damage being done with hanzo.

12:06 yeah he must be bronze for thinking he can 1v3 against 2 supports and a dps. that is already a loosing battle.

Which one is better? Which ever is expected to be more effective in progressing/stalling the objective. For eg spamzo is consistent so during the start of a payload cap, where the advantages are offensive sided, the added risk with less added benefit may make assasin style less incentavised. As you progress the objective you may need to run assasin style to generate some more off angling pressure and get key picks when taking space without picks is not as ideal. However since I havent tested this in game (and I not at your skill level/skill set atm) I am not quite sure if you can apply assassin vs spamzo in relation to objective progression with adequate accuracy. And I am plat 2 peak dps so maybe take this with caution. But the take home messgae is: we should aim to compare decisions in relation to objective taking/holding potential and know when to make the most optimal ones to our knowledge, to maximise our chances of winning. (This was edited to add some things, clarify others, and to replace language that assumed that self credentials provoides validity in the quality of the arguement)

Ive found a lot of success by starting off the round as spamzo then once they think Im going to be doing that all game I switch to more assassin style

its not a lineup, you just eyeball those. its not that difficult after you have done it 5-10 times per match for a week straight

Personally I am more effective with spamzo. Flankzo helped me out bronze-gold but spamzo is helping me creep to gm

Biggest takeaway I got from this was that no matter how good you may be at hanzo, whether you’re the top hanzo in the world or paper plate IV, everyone has shit dragons sometimes

Assassin hanzo lost value as seasons went on in overwatch. Pressure is too common place now, so lapses in pressure is now a much greater inherent risk. The window for hanzo to position and get sneaky picks is smaller than ever, which puts more pressure on hanzo. However, with mauga meta, this might change this season

I'm glad you mentioned about the 69% (nice) more damage from spamzo that is causing the healers to get loads of ult charge. People seem to often arbitrarily say "I'm better than you, look at my damage" without understanding what the stats actually indicate.

honestly i prefer the more gameplay less crazy edit videos

But Arrge how do we know that spamzo truly is bad when YOU are the one using both? Afterall, you are more use to the assassin one at this point so they would be nearly different classes to you now right? The only way to truly know is if you went back in time mastered 8K hours of Spamzo and THEN fought yourself!!!

i noticed that both playstyles are also junkrat playstyles.
