Salou. Probably our favourite destination. Me 66 wife 62 and Daughter 36. What we like is this place has something for all of us. Portaventura for me and my daughter. Great theme park that you don't even need to ride anything it's soo nice the theming in there. Waterpark next door and then of course the other side of the coin. Good bars,food, beach shops. Plan to go again soon so your videos here are brilliant especially that your randomly looking around. We watch our football at a bar on the main roundabout up from the beach a bit. Thanks again. Think I need to get booking as I retire in 3 weeks. This could be our celebration destination. 😉

Hola Kevin salou was the first resort I ever visited on my maiden trip to Spain 40 years ago and enjoyed my stay need to plan a return visit enjoy your weekend😂

Was in salou about 7 times loved it ❤but now it's definitely Portugal 100%.

I came back from Turkey on Wednesday, I really enjoyed my holiday. The plan is going to Egypt next year!!

Cambrils is lovely..we stayed in La Pineda and took the bus

Salou is great Kevin. We stayed at Cap Salou, golden port hotel. Cambrils also very nice Tarragona further up coast for Roman amphitheatre .

Great to see another series. I was hoping you would be in salou some day as I've been wanting to see this town and what do you make of it

Hi Kevin last time l was in salou l must of been 16 .. about 4 families went on the bus from Middlesbrough ..we all stayed on a campsite ⛺️ in tents .. they were the best holidays ☀️😎.. couldn’t do the bus now 🙈.. have a great time 😊

When facing the beach go left for the main strip and bars,the main railway station is at Portaventura.We are there again in September.👍

Kevin, consider Sitges. Stay near the rail station, not the port, if you overnight. There are three circular bus routes from the station -single fare €1.50 (on bus) 10 journey ticket €6.30 (Station ticket office). There are buses and trains (change at El Prat) to BCN airport, depending which terminal you use. There are quite a few pintxo/tapa bars these days. In 1966 a local shopkeeper accused me of being a capitalist, I was 19. I have visited a few times since then. Ps: It's pricey in July - not much under £100 a night.

Awww lovely memories of salou have not been for bout 12 years with my late mum and my three sons looks like it’s changed , loved Barcelona loved Cambrils etc , heading the pub to watch England match soon hoping England put on some show today Gareth was boro gaffer and honestly some days it was like pulling teeth better skipper than gaffer back then , looking forward to this series x

Was there in April going again in August, beautiful Boardwalk from end of beach downto campenell beach ,I think that's the name of it ,some fab walks there , enjoy , the lady or gent in scot bar very friendly and nice food , The Grapevine also have great value in food and 🍺€2.50 😁

Aww no way was in Salou up till yesterday! Would have been good to bump into you! We stayed at the Hostel Tahiti right in the restaurant and bar area basic but did the job!

There is a Liverpool pub called Shankly's in Salou. No l8ve music but a good wee pub. At least it was when we were there, but thar was before Covid.....

Hi Kevin yes very little summer weather here in Dublin. Has not been a day with warm sunshine in weeks. Been in salou 3 times and noticed 4 nationalities mainly with tourists. Woukd u know those 4? Might go again for oct depends on flight times/prices and our course Aer Lingus pilots! In zante in June.

i hope our aer lingus flights be ok for tenerife the weather here in cork is not nice with the last two months

If you can visit the H10 Salou Princess. Its a 4 star in name only. 2 English speaking channels both news channels. We went for about 15 years. but the food was once good but now very poor. So decided notto go back
