Spain Skiing La Molina in Spain with SkiMum and the family

Ойын-сауық

Skiing Spain SkiMum gives us a glimpse of skiing in the Spanish Pyrenees and just how easy it is the grab a chartered ski bus in Barcelona and go skiing. The ski bus ride from Barcelona to La Mollina and La Masalla is about a 1.5 hour bus ride. Easy! Skiers catch the ski bus at 6:30 AM in front of the Hard Rock Cafe in Barcelona. All we had with us was our Dakine ski packs that contained mittens, goggles, and hat. We had our Dakine Ski bibs and Gortex outerwear Jackets and Puffy. I used my Jacket and Puffy most of the trip touring around Barcelona sightseeing anyway as it is very nice looking and comfortable. Our Ski Bus ticket included our Skis, Poles and Boot rental, Lift ticket for the day and a picnic lunch. There was an English speaking guide on the bus who made sure we knew where to go and pointed out sights on the bus trip to the Spanish ski area. Once arriving at the resort we got our gear and did the best sightseeing ever on skis! The lift ticket encompassed both resorts, La Mollina and La Masalla, an all inclusive ticket called the Alps 2500. We skied until the bus departed at 4:30. It was a happy, full day of skiing and we arrived back in Barcelona in time for the fun evening festivities of wandering and tapas. I recommend considering the Spanish Pyrenees for a ski vacation. It was very affordable and beautiful. With 30 resorts dotting this mountain range that borders Spain and France the ski vacation options are endless.
I found the ski bus information on the ski resort website. Once you begin to search the web about the Spanish Pyrenees or skiing Spain there is good information. Happy adventuring! I hope this inspires you to take that step.

Marvin created the visual story and picked all of the music based on my rough footage. He then added my voiceover. Thank you Marvin.

If you come to Spain again, think about visiting Baqueira Beret in Lleida. It’s 2 mountains next to eachother Baqueira is more advanced and Beret is more beginner but both have black diamond options. There is way more snow than La Molina and La Masella There is 284cm of snow right now in Baqueira Beret🤩 Thank you and have a great day🤗

I agree, been to La Molina/Masella a few times and a nice area close to most populated areas like Barcelona. Was in Baqueira Beret last year, now that's a really good resort and know for great snowfall as much further west so gets much more precipitation. Only issue is it is a much longer journey from Barcelona.

Hello, we were vacationing in Barcelona and were able to take a bus from the Hard Rock Cafe to La Molina….it was a package including bus, ski ticket, rental and a picnic. Great deal. It took about an hour and a half to the ski hill. Great FUN!!! You can find the “ski bus” deal on the La Molina web site. Hope this helps:)
