I think it's unfortunate that SGP had that fallout and wasn't in everyone's radar no more. But regardless of that, he is low-key probably the most influential artist in underground rap today. He was one of the first to create the dark, punk/alternative/distorted rap type music and style that is in the forefront of underground music today. The painting of the nails black, the pyramid images, the inverted letters that even "edgy" clothing brands use today all were introduced in the current modern era by SpaceGhostPurrp and Raider Klan. He gets hated on alot because of his troll-like behavior on social media and the obvious A$AP fallout. It's very unfortunate that he doesn't get his credit but some of your favorite artists are either directly or indirectly inspired by him and his style. People can hate on him but you cannot deny his influence on the culture.

The good thing is that you can easily distinguish who really knows the underground and who doesn't. Those who don't know are always the first one to comment or tweet fuck sgp, but can't name a single song by him and barely know anything about the klan. The ones who do know the underground know that he's been off his shit and acting crazy, but still can acknowledge the influence that he had and know what he's done for this movement that started the underground. His overall impact can't be denied at all, & what he's done with the artist that he brought up influence the mainstream whether anyone likes it or not that's something that can't be denied

Shit made my day better. Purrp is back. He's been doin shit but definitely has been a lil more quiet last few years. I'm just glad he seems to be doing well for real, if this dude never put another song again but was content with his life and happy, I'd be totally okay with that, because his music has gotten through some shit and continues to get me through shit everyday. I was literally listening to him yesterday. Favorite artists hands down. And the fact that you dudes have gotten lil ugly mane and now purrp to do interviews, like holy fuck thank you guys for working your fucking magic. Purrp and ugly were the first two rappers I really got into on some dark shit.

This needed to be 3 hours to really cover everything. At least we got something though, SGP a true innovator and GOAT
