From my experience, cramming isn't recommended in medical school. You may pass your exams with cramming, but you will not have the overall knowledge to save patients.

I have a system I use for when I study. I call them "rounds". I'll set a timer for 45 minutes to study a subject. At that time, my phone is on do not disturb mode and the only reason I will stop studying is to use the washroom, or pick up a call from my daughter. Once 45 min is up, I take 15 minutes to do what I want. That's one round. I focus on getting a minimum 3 rounds a day on whatever subject I'm studying. This system helps me lock in short bursts of serious focus. I understand a person can work 8 hrs and get little done, whereas 4 hrs of serious focused work can 10x your results.

I would also like to say, to apply this you have to quiz yourself and if you get the wrong answer on a question then that's where you have to spend more time studying on it. Also if it seems frustrating and difficult that means it's working!!😃

If you take good notes, review and revise them more often, practice often as in solving a mathematics applied problems. Engineers are good at this - repetition, repetition and constant review and use, it will STICK!!!!!!... Engineers are good at interpreting word problems and defining them and translating them into scientific math language and vice versa. Also we can employ these: EXTENSIVE READING and INTENSIVE READING everyday = make it a HOBBY, A PASSION of continuous improvement.

I re_scan every 50 pages ,I rescan and rescan ,at the end of 300_500 pages I can remember the words on the pages. it is very strange how I remember the shape of the words and the place of them but this comes only after rescanning for many many time .

I have a bone to pick with the example just before 2:09. In the first group, you gave the percent of how much they forgot. A good start. However in the next group, you neglected to cite at all how much they forgot. You instead cited that they learn more efficiently. I wish you would have shared how much the second group forgot, for contrast. Besides, the suggestion that general learning efficiency could potentially benefit from this repetition is in my opinion a bombshell that should have been introduced in its own block, rather than introduced in mentioned passing in an example of something else.

Hey, whoever is reading this...please help me with your ideas on this problem :- Topic - In spaced repetition Subject - the problem with me is not that I don't recall anything...I do, but I don't recall all! but that is not the main issue - issue is say in a topic there are 15points now the points which I am not able to recall in 1st repetition I won't remember them in the 2nd one either and same points I won't remember in 3rd either ex. I was not able to get 3rd nd 5th point therefore I won't get them in subsequent revision as well This also happens with certain topics (as whole) I won't recall that entire topic in any revision ex. of thinkers or quotes or historians or any such overly factual What to do in such scenario, how to beat this issue and recall all, If not all than atleast 90-95% of all... as 3-4 points in each topic is too much gone in 300-400 topics. Please do share what you do, thanks a lot for yout time!

I think finding a penpal will help return the meaning to the words you are learning. Find someone you can talk to in real time. Or perhaps you could find posts online that require you to formulate answers in the topics you need to apply the words you are learning.

Dear Abdullah bro, please explain. We are just writing a longer text with all details. The date is 1985. If you got other facts, please let us know. It would be a pity to misinform. Osmosis is great, but info on Hermann is wrong. Have nice time learning. We all agree that spaced repetition rocks! The date is secondary :)

2:06 This comparison is terrible. 33% forgotten after 1 year vs. 40% greater efficiency = there is no real information here. It would be better if you told us how much was forgotten with spaced repetition and explained what efficiency means here.
