Spaced, Interleaved and Retrieval Practice: The Key to Long-term Knowledge Retention (LDA Webinar)
Hi all,
This is the version of my presentation for LDA that I was forced to scrap due to audio issues. Thankfully, its content is practically identical to the version that I delivered live (including all of the terrible jokes!).
Here is a link to the slides if you wish to download them:

The app that Ollie Lovell is helping to develop (and is not mentioned in this video) is Dendro, so please do check it out.
Please contact me on Twitter should you have any questions about my presentation (my DMs are always open).

Thank you very much for this informative session. You helped to clarify some understandings I have around interleaving and retrieval practice. I really appreciated your examples of how your school approaches these topics.
i was also a financial auditor in the past before I moved into the teaching career! thanks for this video you've made, David! :)
Really good stuff, David. Thanks! Will be linking to this whenever I talk about practice from now on.

Hi - thanks for the kind words. Due to privacy concerns I don't post footage of my students online, but if you're in Melbourne you're always welcome to come and visit once schools reopen in the future.
