The original Shaider died year 2001 no one can beat him. he is the best shaider a legend. Almost 18 years ago since he died.

It's awesome that Kenji Oba is able to reprise his role as Gavan in this revival.

The first Space Sheriff is very nostalgic. I won't forget that narrator's voice though. I always come running down from my room everytime I hear his voice on the tv.

​@@oliverflores3309 actually it was a different person narrating it...the narrator for Gavan and Sharivan is different from Shaider. Who you meant must be Ohira Toru (RIP) that narrated Shaider here...he was indeed the narrator for Gorenger until Dynaman and then return for Zyuranger. While the narrator for Gavan and Sharivan was Issei Masamune (known for his narrated in Kamen Rider Black, Kamen Rider Black RX, and Tokkei Winspector)

Too sad because sir hiroshi tsuburaya is gone. We really miss him our childhood days are not complete without shaider.

The problem with the new actors is that they're not as intense compared to the original ones. It's like they're not putting as much heart into it compared to the original actors y'know. Still, it's nice to see such a faithful remake.

Ricardo Pereira de Paula Well, toku actors originally did their own stunts, so they're in better physical shape, and they usually do martial arts too. The new actors are basically male models. For Gavan and Sharivan here, it's not too bad, but Spielvan...he doesn't have a lot of exaggerated movements, so it's harder to "fake" it.

San Qiang Li Male models huh... apparently you don't know your shit indeed. of the 3 new generations, Gavan is a martial artist himself, Sharivan was Geki Violet, & the most impressive of all 3, SHAIDER (get your names right here), R5, the first Kamen Rider Birth, & A GODDAMN MARTIAL ARTIST with more muscle than ALL the 3 previous generations. ALL 3 are fit enough to do their goddamn own stunts!!

Shaider just pops out of my mind so i decided to checked the YT and google the actors....just to reminisce my childhood memories.....and i was surprised the original Shaider named Hiroshi Tsuburaya aka Alexis died July 2001 due to liver cancer and after 25 years i finally got to know the real name of Annie as Naomi Morinaga :)

The recent Shaider movie had them finally fight together for real. Best henshin sequences too.

after looking at the poses ESPECIALLY sharivan's past and present, I'd say the oldies are the best still.

for me old school is always cool :)

I like the present where they always use the "shiny" version of the suit.

Man! You can tell the older actors filmed with passion. The newer actors: Not so much.

I wish the new guys would practice their arm gesture 100x a day, so they could do it fast and it would look decent.

slicer3889 I'd argue the camera work is the problem. They film the new ones with pauses that are a bit longer in between the shots of them posing. Basically the old camera work would snap to different scenes of the poses faster.

I think the footage might be sped up slightly. There are some behind the scenes footage for shaider and the suit actor were doing thei fights slower than they were shown in the final cut

The old school actors transformations are more snappy. I love the new gen costumes though specially shaider. 🙂

In my opinion though, the Next Generation guys doesn't seem to put much effort in their transformation poses. Riki Miura doesn't seem to have that "oomph" when transforming as opposed when he was playing GekiViolet.

Sharivan admittedly needs to put more oomph into his morph. Gavan is doing fine all the time, & Shaider, well... the moves themselves are sloppy, can't do much with something so ridiculously easy to pull...

the new gavan is ok.. he does give his all when transfroming.. Sharivan and Shaider... they need to give more force when they transform.. Its obvious that the suit actors are different from their counterparts.

+Kim Martin Indeed. Actually Paul Verhoeven inspired himself from Gavan to make the Robocop armor and he also inspired himself from the EightMan for the concept of a human being turned into a machine after death.

I think new Gavan's pose is fine. However, I agree about new Sharivan & Shaider. They move so half-heartedly

The Original Space Sheriffs are still the best. Their successors are more like wannabes and they should have their own Space Sheriff names and different combat suits to be different from the superior originals.

I feel the old ones put passion on their transformation, even without Kenji Oba. The new ones are very slow

Anyone would agree original space sheriff actors had so much flare executing their signature poses. I'm a Space sheriff Shadier fan and happy to see the next generation revival but there is something lacking with the actor's pose execution to space sheriff mode.

The 2013 Sharivan retired from acting years ago..He's married to the daughter of the owner of Tsuburaya Fields so no need for him work as an actor

Yun ay dahil bumabangon ang ekonomiya nila after WW2 kung saan ito yung tinatawag na "Post-economy Miracle"sa Japan kung saan ang dami nilang ginagawa gaya ng mga palabas na yan(Ultraman series, Tokusatsu, Animes, at kahit mga Hentai) maliban pa sa mga gadget at appliances atbp...,hanggang sa taon ng 1993 ay tumigil ito at nagsimula ng mawala unti-unti ang mga palabas na ito sa bansa, at sa ngayon puro Tele-Drama na lng mapapanood mula umaga hanggang gabi?!!
