What is the maxiumum weight each bed could support?
You might also work on one that faces the front and folds into a table or something because car seats have to be on front-facing benches.
This is cool and something I have been looking into as I start planning/designing a van build. Question: is there anything needed to support the weight in the middle when the benches come together as a bed? Thx

Agreed! Been working on a new revision of this design for a while.....I'm making one for a custom Ford econoline van interior rn and I'll have a video up soon but I need to make a special version for normal high top roof vans. It'll look way better and more versatile 🤞

Yes they can for high roof wide vans like sprinters, promasters, transits.....I have a video coming soon of one I'm working on right now for a for econoline.

Rec Pro sells the basic hardware. RB components sells either hardware or constructed seats. This installation has additional fabrication with the slide forward/gas piston design.

Yes these come with seat belts we installed them where we bolted the base to the floor

I'm not sure tbh, this was a special request custom job, that responsibility fall on the owner if the vehicle.

this looks like a bit of a bad DIY idea i get the design but it needs work. Plus the bed has too many seams ever try to sleep on a bed with all kinds of seams across it? Its not fun

They seem clunky and awkward. They also look unconfutable.
