Nice video, I'm limited to a small army right now, so was trying to evolve the combos. I came up with this, based on the Lib + Deso combo: Primaris Lieutenant with MC'ed Bolt Rifle + Bolter discipline in Sternguard Veterans: The Lieutenant gives Lethal hits - Now the crits on 5+ adds 1 extra hit AND autowounds. Sternguards have the Bolter Drill ability - kill a whole unit? Why not do the entire shooting round again on a new target. The Lieutenant even has Target priority ability If you outmanouvre your opponent, the unit can do some serious ranged damage if you time the Devestator Doctrine and Oath good, even has assault on the bolt rifles, enabling an advance to get in range for rapid fire. If outmanouvred by opponent, the Target prio skill enables you to fall back from melee combat, unleash rapid fire weapons directly into your opponent, and then charge back in.

You could also place an invictor tactical warsuit next to the eliminators within 6 inches. Or move them towards the warsuit after shoot and fade within 6 inch. If a unit tries to shoot them the warsuit can shoot back at the unit in their turn. This threat alone will make the opponent usually not want to shoot them at all. Works well too on other phobos units like infiltrators with phobos Lt. Also using the tank shock stratagem on the warsuit when you charge performs miracles!

I'm liking the flavour of captain with relic shield, bladeguard veteran squad, bladeguard ancient, equip the captain with THE HONOUR VEHEMENT, play the honour the chapter strategem and charge them while assault doctrine is active.

I’m so glad someone else mentioned it lol. I have been drooling over this combo ever since I saw the data sheets. Honor vehement, finest hour and honour the chapter in assault doctrine can give him 11A S7 AP-3 D2 with lance AND devastating wounds! That sounds nutty for 95 pts and 1 cp and the flavor is absolutely beautiful

Sternguard veterans with Lieutenant and bolter discipline gives them lethal hits on 5+ and Devestating wounds in addition. Then you can also add a captain or chapter master to get additional bonuses...

Lethal Hits do not proc Devastating Wounds

@@Rejnols Sternguard weapons already have Devestating wounds, while lethal hits are added by lieutenant. Meaning you can proc a mortal wound on both hit roll with lethal hits and on wound roll with mortal wounds. Not for the lethal hits, but for the remaining normal hits.

@@shiir440 you are not reading what I am saying and you are not reading the rules Lethal Hits are the HIT ROLL and does not count as 6's to wound. Devastating Wounds are the WOUND ROLL and does not get triggered by hits that automatically wound

Bolter Discipline is awesome for Desolators but the Superkrak/frags don't have the indirect fire rule. That is only on their Castellan/Vengor launchers.

Only one laz cannon per model now. So only 6 shots. Re rolling for twin linked. Not bad but expensive.

@@onlystamina5932 yeah I love my centurions. They look fantastic but with 4” move lol and still super expensive. The drill ones are justified if you toss them in reserve or in a landraider.

@@davidring681 I'm planning on also using a stormraven to deliver a group of 3 devastators and 3 eliminators atop ruins; providing them with increased AP and a great sightline. 90% of the people at my LGS play custodes and since SM don't do well into custodes, I need to have to hefty anti-elite shooting.

How about a Bike squad ( first born or primaris ) with a captain. They can stay in assault doctrine all game and fire all weapons for free thanks to the captain, advance for 6” each turn and charge. Give the captain thunder hammer and the honour vehement, 7 attack S10 devastating wounds

Well you can't give two enhancements to the same character. So its either giving the Captain the ability to be in tactical doctrine or giving him the honour vehement,

Is there a character that can be attached to the Inceptors to Deep Strike with them?
