Raven Guard with the Beak helmet look goes hard.

An Apothecary might not be the most gentle or possess the best "bedside manner," but you'd be hard pressed to find a better battlefield medicae. One who can fix you while also keeping you safe from whatever hurt you in the first place.

Apothecaries are typically guarded zealously, even by space marine standards. Likely because they're seen as life-savers and probably have personal ties to the people they work with, but also because they perform the very duties that keep the chapter alive: Extracting geneseed, especially from the fallen and denying it to the enemy.

They also heal my Space Marines in Gladius while talking about preserving the gene seed. Good ole, wholesome apothecaries.

Another fun fact is that deathwatch apothecaries are usually the most skilled ones in the galaxy. They know how to operate on astartes from every chapter, and they also know every gene flaw of every chapter.

Imagine the Tf2 Medic on Steroids and you pretty much got the general gist of an apothecary. Will they help you? Yes. But its probably gonna be one wild ride.

They're also quite capable of treating the injuries and ailments of mortal men, although they don't often do so. One even delivered a baby.

Thats in the active company they have an apothecarion of members usually on ship or monastery for the more difficult surgeries and also where they train more
