These days will never come back again. Hi Ibiza is a glitzy club without a heart. I miss those parties espacially matinée. I remember when we returned from Amnesia in 1998 early in the morning, we were completely exhausted. We reached our hotel (Fiesta Club Playa d'en Bossa => now Ushuaia) and heard loud music from across the street. We couldnt believe our eyes a club could open in the morning. Instead of sleeping we entered Space the very first time in our life. A magic moment.

First saw David Guetta in 2004 on my 20th Birthday back in the day, when house music was in it's hey day! He seemed shocked when I went to shake his hand as if he wondered why anyone would want to! I always thought he was under rated back in those days and couldn't understand why he wasn't in the dj mag top 100 (you actually took it seriously in those days haha), and then look what happened in 2008! It wasn't too bad to begin with after that but hes declined ever since. Saw a live stream of him playing in 2014.... what a load so called "big room" utter dog shite he played!! - Back to the days of "the world is mine" and "just a little more love" please!

You think he should have kept living in a one window apartment and not enough money to scratch his ass. No, he work hard, grew and earned loads in the process. Ibiza is a spent force in terms of clubbing. Musically, late 80s - early 00s were the glory years! All these rip-off hotel complexes with pool parties and bottle service - are crap.. because it's not about the music anymore. And the music - was the spirit of the place.

i dont know if all of this was somehow different and better and we all want to go back or because we were young and everyone likes to thing about their youth. but idk, i bet when the electronic music was on rise in europe after the iron curtain fell, all was new, we all were eager to try new things we couldnt before 89 and we actually enjoyed it. now people know everything is legal and free and dont appreciate it because there isnt that effect. i bet if there hadnt been the iron curtain, idk if we'd have enjoyed everything like we did. the same with czechtek and other festivals, that now live only in our memories.
